This thread is truth. I don't know exactly what happened, but Triple H should have turned heel, he didn't. The whole Nash angle was done poorly, and ended up making little sense because Triple H didn't turn heel like he should have for whatever reason. Then the fact that Nash couldn't even have a match, and Punk losing to HHH along with HHH's belittling promos killed a ton of Punk's momentum.
This storyline should have been exactly what Punk should have gone through years ago, but HHH not turning and putting Punk over derailed it.
The other thing that hurt Punk is that when he won the title and said he was leaving, he was back in time for the next PPV. He should have stayed off TV longer and done more stuff outside of WWE to draw attention.
