A lot the slang yall associate with the 70s, wasnt black people but jewish writers. Thats why they called it Blaxploitation. Nobody was saying jive turkey in real life,

The adults follow what the kids do. By virtue of socials most likely. When I was a budding Hip Hopper, the adults basically hated what we were doing. They stuck with their Classic R and B. I was 8 YO in 1983. Started rhyming.
