Why did LWO beg for an elite PG and then beg for Kobe to run the offense?

no what you said and what i said are two different things :stopitslime:

your point is for kobe to give up ball handling duties altogether and play off ball. My point is to let kobe dominate the ball(to control the tempo) and be a more willing passer to the open(or cutting) man.

oh...

so you want kobe to play PG :scusthov:

:comeon: Thats been the problem for years

we know that. Kobe skill set is better than any NBA player in the past 15-20 years. But he seems to always be fighting with himself on how to use his skills. :manny:

:youngsabo: And then There was BRON

His skill-set isn't better than LBJ

He isn't a better defender
Doesn't see the floor or pass the ball batter
Doesn't have LBJ's athleticism (strength, explosion, agility, stamina, bounce)
Doesn't handle the ball better

I'll give Kobe his jumper though. His jumper is a tad bit wetter

but please stop...

are you that stupid man??

with dynamic wing players like Kobe, Wade, Lebron, Harden... you dont really need a PG to dominate the ball. All you need your pG to do is to defend, hit the open shot, and occasionally pass the ball.

that is why i thought OKC would have been better off trading Westbrook and keep Harden. :manny:

i've never seen a fanbase go so far out of their way to downplay and minimize HOF players in order to big up an aging washed up chucker...what the fukk do yall even have Steve Nash for at this point?
They're Kobe stans first and foremost, not Lakers fans... There's a difference.
They'd be rooting for the Hornets if Kobe went there :manny:

so all these years of lakers fans begging for an elite PG were for what exactly? :dwillhuh: why not just keep Fisher there if all yall need out of your PG is the occasional 3 and a pass to mamba

Lakers fans begging for an elite PG dont really know about the game. Most lakers fan i know were just begging for a quicker PG than Fisher that can defend your Westbrook-type PG more capably.

When Ariza was here, we had a wing player that was quick enough(and tall) that could do that but we trade him for no-brain Artest.

yo how long have you been watching basketball for??

kobe is 34 so to compare his athleticism to Lebron's right is kinda stupid. AND ATHLETICISM IS NOT SKILL, Skill is something you have acquired.

look at kobe's skills
midrange game? check
fadeway? check
hook shot? check
post game? check
footwork? check
pick and roll? check
3pt? check
pick and pop? check
pull up? check
jab step? check
cross over? check
ball handling? check
tear drop? check
bank shot? check
passing? check
defense? check
court vision? check

take your lebron glasses and comprehend what people are trying to say. Kobe got any basketball skill you can think of. and he's pretty good at all of them. His problem has always been how he efficiently uses them.

if you can not admit that simple fact then i'm afraid you need 2 step yo game up bruh :stopitslime:

Kobe is old as shyt, he isn't going to change now. Everyone knew he wasn't going to be the Jared Dudley of Nash's offense. He sucks off the ball and he's too arrogant to realize he needs to change his game in his old age.

Then what was the fukking point of trading for Nash in the first place if you dont need a PG to dominate the ball? :rudy:

You got one of the best passing PG's of the last decade and you got him spotting up for jumpshots?

:what:

why would Kobe Jared Dudley in Nash's offense when he's the best player on the team??? :mindblown: the shyt you speak make no sense.

For any team to be successful it has to be built around its best player. The Lakers were dumb enough not only to trade for Nash and give him a 3 year contract but to hire D'Antoni and build the team around Nash, the team's 3rd or 4th best player :beli:

Not to mention with the offense built around Nash, the tempo would be faster and we'd get killed in transition.

just imagine how Kobe would have derailed CP3's career if that trade had gone thru :bryan:
