Why did LWO beg for an elite PG and then beg for Kobe to run the offense?

you have just proved my point. you don't know shyt about basketball :pachaha:

Then what was the fukking point of trading for Nash in the first place if you dont need a PG to dominate the ball? :rudy:

You got one of the best passing PG's of the last decade and you got him spotting up for jumpshots?

problem wasn't trading for Nash. Problem was Trading for Nash and attempt to build the offense around him. You can't such an old team and ask them to play at a faster pace...

not to mention Dwight was comin off back surgery :pachaha:

:beli: We would have wanted an elite PG that can somehow play a little defense, instead of getting crossed the fukk up by John Wall and every other PG in the game and having Kirk Hinrich drop almost 30 on the Lakers. Do yall watch Lakers games instead of looking at stats? Breh, no joke, and I have been a fan of Nash for a long time, but Steve Blake has been running the offense better than Nash for like the past month or so, no joke. I'm not sure if Nash is still hurt this season, but he isn't the same player. Plus, of course his assists are going to go down on a more talented team and players of Kobe and Dwight's caliber. Plus, Nash's pick n roll game on this roster is :flabbynsick: The Blake-Dwight Pick N Roll is much more effective and better than Nash-Dwight Pick N Roll, which is surprising since Nash-Gortat had a great Pick N Roll combo. I don't know why dudes are complaining about Kobe running the offense when they have been winning because of it. Nash ran the offense with Kobe playing off the ball, and Kobe was still scoring 30+ points, but ESPN would put up that stat about how the Lakers would still lose and lost a bunch of games earlier in the season even though Kobe would score 30+ points.

If they werent gonna let Nash run the offense then they should've never brought him in. When has Steve Nash ever played off the ball or not had the offense run through him? :aicmon:

Even in Dallas when he played with Dirk and Finley he was still the guy to handle the ball and set everybody up. You really think one of the best PG's of the 21st century wouldnt be able to get Kobe shots and everybody else involved?

:what:

why would Kobe Jared Dudley in Nash's offense when he's the best player on the team??? :mindblown: the shyt you speak make no sense.

For any team to be successful it has to be built around its best player. The Lakers were dumb enough not only to trade for Nash and give him a 3 year contract but to hire D'Antoni and build the team around Nash, the team's 3rd or 4th best player :beli:

Not to mention with the offense built around Nash, the tempo would be faster and we'd get killed in transition.

But getting a point guard makes no sense if you want Kobe controlling the ball all of the time like he has always done. If you want Kobe ball hogging all the way to the grave, a quicker guy that can play defense, run the break, and make the corner 3 would have made more sense.

If its about winning championships, Kobe needs to be a #2 at this point of his career.

Exactly if Kobe was gonna continue to jack up shots and touch the ball more than anybody shyt they should've kept Sessions or made Steve Blake the starter. Dont bring in a PG who needs the ball to operate and be successful

He tries so hard on defense but his ass still get burned on a regular basis :russ:

and Jim buss gave him a 3 year extension :snoop:
@Bilz
you have down syndrome bruh?? :ld: you just said the same i shyt i said. TTHere will be problems if you try to pair players like Kobe, Wade, Lebron, DUrant, Harden with ball dominating PG to control ur offense.

Steve Nash has never played off ball but he has a valuable skill that makes him a very good off ball player: HE IS A GREAT SHOOTER.

Kobe has a better jump shot and better offensive moves than lebron, and lebron stills scores just as much as he does. Ain't noway kobe skillset, total game is better than Bron's. Hell, being able to do it all is what makes LeBron, LeBron. Take those kobe glasses of fam.

:shaq2: We could have gone after Goran Dragic, Kyle Lowry, or even Jameer Nelson, but Jimmy Buss wanted to go after the bigger name like he always prefers. more years breh until we have that unlimited cap space practically. :ahh: Which means no more Artest any more. :whew: 1 more season breh, just 1 more season of Artest, it has felt like an eternity since we have been stuck with him.

he got same amount of brain cells as you : NONE!!! :lolbron:

efficiency and amount of skills in your locker are two different things.

i have never said lebron wasn't more efficient. Just that kobe worry less about how to use his skills. He just uses them because he can rather than because he should.

understand?? :ld:
@PTBG
knowing Jimmy, i wouldn't be surprised if he use that amnesty clause on kobe. 30 million is a bigger hit than midlevel salary(on old CBA).
-Gasol is gone
-unsure about Kobe or Artest

Buss family has to pay death tax and that new CBA is practically a hard cap. I still :pacspit: @ Jordan, CUban and Gilbert for blocking that trade for Gasol last year. If only the front office weren't impatitient and waited after the ink on the new CBA was dry.

That's not even what annoys me about Kobe. He is just so bad defensively. He never ever guards his man. All this nikka does on D is chase the ball. Always gambling and coming up empty 99% of the time. The sad thing is Nash gives a lot more effort on D than Kobe does. He just sucks at it. He is too small, non-athletic and too slow to guard anyone effectively, but at least the effort is there. Kobe gives ZERO EFFORT to guard his man. Its the most frustrating part of his game now.

He has been playing defense like this for years yet, dwade who actually plays defense keeps being overlooked for all defense first team because of idiots voters. :heh:

I think he should run offense but only through out the game as a 2nd option. Better to have a nice PG like Nash run the offense.
