now don't get me wrong i love 2k5 the presentation and gameplay were great but i have a question to ask

it seems to me that the nfl 2k series suddenly blew up when 2k5 dropped for some reason and people dont even talk about the other games.

i mean 2k3 looks exactly like 2k5 and it didn't get nearly as much notoriety as 2k5 did and still gets

so what made 2k5 stand out from the rest of the nfl 2k series?

A up and coming football game with a NFL license that was 20 dollars vs a established franchise that had the same ole shyt with a 49.99 price tag.

One game has a better presentation and a deeper franchise mode, the other a so/so presentation and a typical franchise mode.

One had better controls that would make the most die hard football fan toes curl:dame:, the other a more arcadey accessible control scheme that will cause rage within households.

One still getting modded to this very damn day, the other is still dikking it's customers because the demographic are a bunch of morons.

You do the math:francis:

This when 2K started the run of GOAT sports games.

Couldn’t beat the price. Gameplay top notch. First person football was trash but it was there. Presentation was 2nd to none at the time.

EA pulled the sucker move. Hit stick wasn’t enough.

This was the first thing I ever got a chick that liked me to cash out on
