KungFu Fighting & kicks that are fast as Lightning
oversaturation

u gotta let people breathe and fully digest ur music before u drop ur next lp and project

That combined with modern day kids/teens people in general being alot more softer and sissified than previous generations.

People rather listen to rappers who wear skin tight jeans than a thug or goon who lived that street life

He did 10 million on one album - 90% of those fan weren't hip hop heads and were never gonna check forever. Equally, his fan base grew up.

It's nothing specific to 50 - you could ask why numbers fell off for DMX, Wu, Nelly, Luda, Busta, Snoop even Eminem, etc etc - once you hit them heights you can only manage the decline rather than stop it.

rapper shelf lives are finite.

He acts like a woman at times. . Always keeping another rappers name in his mouth. :yeshrug: Seriously. When a rapper with more success has some kind of venture going on you have 5-0 making some kind of crab in the barrel comment. nikka shut up and make some good music.

And. . when he was going on his run of beefs. . People caught on. The beef with Ja Rule was legit. But that was a perfect storm. . People were getting tired of Ja and Curtis had a nice thug story. But after that he was beefing to sell records. . . .

All these dudes have stans too. Legit fanbases. He was slowly alienating himself. Those are fanbases who will no longer fukk with him for the most part. Add that into the white Eminem crowd who fukked with him cause of the Em co-sign. They moved on too. Then you have 50's flow. :mjlol: shyt is terrible. Sounds like a struggle Ma$e. Aiyo fukk Curtis and SMS Audio. He got rich. cool. Now shut the fukk up.

Dunno why people claiming he a bully. Ross, Jada, Joe etc dissed him first (Joe dissed Buck but whatever). Responding is bullying?

Oversaturation would be my guess. and he just wasn't releasing good music to the mainstream. Straight to the Bank, Amusement park etc were wack so he lost a lot of fans and then hip hop changed and moved away from the Gangsta rap sound. So he'd alienated his original fans with wack singles and his current music was wack to the general hip hop public so he faded.

I always fukk with mixtape 50. Same way I fukk with mixtape Wayne, just don't like the majority of they commercial ish.

He's a c*nt. He went from underdog to bully. People hate stuff like that. He didn't spread any love at all.

When G-Unit was popping he put them on an island and separated them from the rest of NY. Then when they weren't popping anymore they're jumping on other artist tracks and getting guest features.
He also made hip hop more exciting then ever with the beefing you fukkbois just soft

A combination of things.

First of all, he didn't drop anything else close to the caliber of GRODT afterwards. He had some nice joints but nothing on that level. So when you have to live up to that project, people will say you "fell off". Secondly, the times changing and becoming more feminine. When people started dressing like herbs in 07-08 he was still rocking baggy tees, jorts, and fitted caps. Third, you have oversaturation. In the span of 03 to 05 you had Fifty with GRODT, the G-Unit album, The Game album, The massacre, the GRODT movie, etc. He was everywhere too much. Fourth, you had a lot of "Real hip hop heads" back then. A lot more than now. People in the core hip hop community didn't appreciate 50's not-so-great lyricism and mainstream style of rapping. For some reason people love that shyt now but back then they didn't let it fly.

He became an uncool Island. No support network. When Fif was on fire it was all Fif - dude picked up cheap production, did all the hooks himself etc. that's hard to sustain.

When Jay-Z runs out of steam there's a Kanye West, Rihanna, his wife, Justin Timberlake, he'll end up with a fire piano-led beat with a dope ass hook already written etc

I get the flow thing but everyone you mentioned outside of Ye dissed 50 first. What was he meant to do?

This is actually a pretty good reason. I mean over saturation is true as well but not having that network or something to cling is what fukked him.

After the Kanye challenge in 2007 it pretty much became un cool to be a 50 Cent fan...

I stopped liking him after Ghetto Qur'an
honestly.. I was out as soon as the fake Southern accent came through my speakers ..

:duck:

People hate him because it's the cool thing to do. Trend following fakkits. I rock with Migos heavy and trap music heavy and young thug but you can't tell me 50 isn't putting out better music than them. When they're shyt hits it really hits but they got a massive amount of misses too. But with 50 people crucify him for every time he fukks up and completely skips his achievements. Imagine if 50 made that lifestyle track? :mjlol:

It's the trendy thing to hate on 50, one of the few legit nikkas in the game

Also today's generation is a lot softer. They can relate to drake and j cole but 50s music is like a foreign language to most of the new gen
