Why did Sammie never take off?

He has talent and should now pick a lane like how D'Angelo has his own lane etc.
He also needs to make mature rnb and stretch his audience.

Mario is cool but wasn't all that appealing musically to me.
Side note:ole boy who wrote that style was cool but repetitive
omarion on the left and sammie on the right.
Sammie didn't take off because he lacked a team. Sammie could sing, but he just didn't hook up with the right producers and writers to really develop what he had. He probably could've been bigger if he'd linked up with Tricky Stewart and The Dream. Ne-Yo and Stargate probably would've been a good fit for him too.

Mario was too boring. He never reallly made bangers like chris and treyI need wanting to know what happened to dude after "Break Up". Did he have any follow-up singles? Did that album flop?
I remember dude being on "Dancing with the Stars". Only like a year or 2 after that single.
I never liked his voice too much
