I never became an atheist, I've always been an atheist. :manny: And you have the intellect (I hope) to make the decision for yourself.

U said good bye to me. did you forget?

And yes, unlike your dumbass I grew up around the both Nations, and eventually went and learned about Islam myself. And unlike you, I can read the Quran and actually memorized it. You're just up in here talking some secondhand bullshyt you heard or googled.

So u speak arabic and grew up with Atheist parents? And then one day took your native tongue and read the koran?
and then told your ARABIC SPEAKING parents you liked being an ATHEIST, but you're so smart u memorized the book and post on the coli all day calling yourself a "blakk bytch" and saying white people are wet dog smelling cacs.
wow. your parents really won. :ohhh:

the nation of gods and earths is a stupid ass, antiquated, pseudo-scientific fairy tale cult full of deadbeat degenerate convicts and shyt....it's a collective of disenfranchised smart-dumb nikkas

i pity anyone who actually thinks their broken math, make believe history and nonsense science has any value

the only reason nikkas even talk about it today is because all their favorite rappers from the 90s were on that dumb ass shyt....if you literally believe the goofy ass 120 lost-found "lessons" then you will believe any god damn thing

the nation of islam isn't much better, and these distorted mockeries of Islam are counterproductive to black people....but hey cappadonna and nas dropped some bars about it so it can't be too bad :rudy:
Lol...that shyt is nonsense, but I wouldn't say it had NO value because it served as a means of filling a void of self-identity, and starting some on a path of exploring macro issues in the world. It's value was as an intellectual and self-exploratory stepping stone.

Or maybe I'm just sympathetic to it because a lot of my favorite rappers growing up were 5% ers. :ohhh:

It certainly didn't help bring down the crime rates in the northeast in the 70's, 80's and 90's.

Georgia is a crossroads for all of this..u can connect the dots here

Sandersville ga which is like just 45 min from where im at right now is where Elijah was born and got jis 3rd "grade
education" (master mason degree) from the PHA lodge there

the Gods had a strong presence in the A thanks to brothers like Supreme Understanding who had a barbershop down their the same time the WU had thier store on peachtree

"the good ole days
.the good ole days" :noah:

90s in atl had a strong conscious comunity

you had club kaya which had spoken word and reggae shows

P.A.C Prince Allah Cuba was their ...he was one of the most profound writers of the nation

dont know how but i didnt start seeing bloods and gds in atl tillthe BMF era in 2001

Thats when u had a strong influx of cali and midwest cats there

sure was,.
had the fatbeats on mitchell(for hiphop djs), Lyricist Lounge was frequently, and funk jazz cafe at the Tabernacle.

Strong parallel netwern the demise of hip hop and the 5% nation

basically Nas summed it up best in the song I WANNA TALK TO YOU

"We wanna be part of the establishment!"

Basically gods like myself and b boys and rappers wanted to be in the mainstream

and once i got my corporatr gig and had a family i got content just like hip hop and Nas he talked about evil empires like Def Jam but then when ahead and signed to them

So i cant really say the Nation self destricted...people just have selfish motives like myself

Cause at the end pf the day its EACH ONE TEACH ONE

and i should still be out there dropping science

This why I believe Pimpism is more palatable that the 5% teachings IMO.

13x never espoused God like values. Brotha could be found regularly shooting dice , drinking , smoking a cig , or just chillin in front of the bodega. Honestly these brothas never made any sort of noise nationally. To this day the only place Ive encountered a 5% presence is the north east. Ive actually met brothas who rose through the ranks with Clarence and none of them had favorable opinions of him or his teachings(most of which were variations of things he learned from the NOI)

Funny the 5% never hit it big in Philly. And is probably THEE most islamic city in American as far as Black people are concerned. If you come to Philly talking about you're a 5%then you'll have problems with the Sunni's.

I got your points, I just think they are given enough WEIGHT. I think we aren't weighing the fact that a lot of the propagation of 5% ideology happened behind bars and then was widely dispersed.

As for Economics, I think it was the economics of prison life MORE than the economics of the outside that resulted in young thugs going the UBN way.

As far as COINTELPRO I agree, but I see the key step was when it was decided that organizers from prisons with heavy black gang should be housed in NYC area prisons to cut them off from their powerbase. Thats really the documented cause of all the north east prison gangs, supposedly key black organizers were too disruptive in the west and midwest prisons so they were moved to north east prisons where there gangs didnt have power. The supposed idea was to cut the head off from gang body. The reality is they took the key organizers of black prison gangs that had been fighting latin prison gangs for a decade on the west, and put them into a situation where latins had already successfully taken over from black gangs with little opposition because the key organizers (5%) were willing to relinquish control of 'dirty' prison money making enterprises (prison prostitution and hard drugs). To me it always read more like the powers that be needed someone to blunt the power of the east coast latin prison gangs so they moved the exact people who could get east coast black prison gangs organized into a ripe situation.

, but that will be hard cause people are pushing the bi-racial 90s babies as the new black people.

To quote Ice Cube "Half black is the new black can't you tell?"
