I had to edit my post. I meant he said bumps would not be a problem. @captaincharisma you're thinking about 2003, but the match would have been a year earlier. Austin was fine physically. he's just making excuses or he wasn't confident he could have a good match with Hogan at that point, where Rock had no problem

The :hamster: TSC crew had to spin it into Hogan "begging" for a match because Austin was too shook to accept.

Talking about match quality...it's fukkin Austin/Hogan.

sick avi @I-Hate-You

i mean, over the years you can see on austins face how insecure hogan makes him. dude snickers like a bytch around the HOG.

hulkster is ALWAYS about the buck. you know he woulda had that match. austin ducking hogan actually hurt austin in the long run. by letting rock have that match, it kinda put rock ahead of him career wise. he feared the ether leg drop would break his neck for good im sure.

Hogan had the pull to make them have Austin drop the US title to Hacksaw Jim Duggan in like 30 seconds. Can you blame him?

The real reason is Austin didn't wanna be remembered for a shyt match and know hogan can't work

Hogan was gonna job, but Austin said he can't trust him if I recall correctly

Hogan was the one begging for the match on raw, stone goat kept it moving

Stop the ducktales aka hulktales about Austin brehs

bro Austin said himself he felt he would get booed and he probably still had heat over Hogan because Eric Bischoff vetoed his ideas in WCW and probably blamed Hogan for it

no way that match would have been bad...look at the atmosphere the Rock and Hogan created. Stop being a stan breh Austin is a cool dude but his insecurity robbed him of a classic moment where he probably would have won the match at the time anyway the same way Rock did

You know Austin has his diva moments and thats because of the roids and the alcohol ...ask Debra

Hogan isn't perfect either but he never beat his wife or took his ball and went home

and thats so full of shyt. people throw hissy fits when they gotta job to hogan. hogan never made the business look silly like IWC's champion shawn "flopping like a fish" michaels. austin was scared he;d get outpopped by a returning hogan. austin ran from printing money... such a BS excuse.

HOG > Stone cold all day everyday. if you need to drink beer curse and give the finger to get attention and look cool...

prayer and vitamins > beer and fingers. those two were made to go at one another and austin ducked out. end of story. austin has memorable moments, but Hogan vs Rock might just supersede all of them.

i dont catch what you mean? didntw anna job to michaels?

why the fukk would hulk hogan job to shawn michaels first of all.both at the end of their careers, one way bigger than the other. hog is on the record as saying he would have had another ppv with shawn and did the job so they could MAKE MONEY but shawn was super unprofessional. watching that match was a discgrace. if i was vince i woulda sent shawn home for botching a main event like that.

he didn't wanna job to sting and literally laid down..came down in street clothes and all.

I read that story the other way around, heard it was Shawn who wanted to do the rematch then Hogan started talking about his "knee injury". Not saying it's true but thats the story i read...JR said and i quote "Shawn is known for what he's accomplished in this business, Hogan is known for how he does business" [I'm sure that quote is based on politics, and not as an overall thing]
