Why didn't Jim Jones just run up on Jay back in the day?

Still doesn't make sense that you are working with Jay-z's friends, getting played on "Jay-z's stations" and getting deals with Jay's friends if you are trying to blackball him. Why the hell would Jay blackball someone in LA and not NY when he's better connected in NY and was in NY at the time.

I did not not write an exhaustive list of every single way that someone can get blackballed, I'm stating reasons for why one isn't. Having influence and using it negatively are completely different things.

:snoop: I just explained it to you in plain english. They do not need to be owned by Jay-z for it to work. If you don't get it this time then you have your stan glasses on per usual.

If certain venues want Jay-z or artist he has influence over, like say a Meek Mill, Gunna or DJ Mustard, then if he says it's him/his people or another artist they might side with Jayz.

If a certain producer wants to be on a Jay-z album or Jay Electronica or even Beyonce he may not work with someone that Jay-z has made clear he doesn't want that person to work with.

If Angie Martinez wants an exclusive interview with Jay-z she maybe told she can secure that interview if she turns down another rappers that he has issues with.

If an artist on Atlantic wanted to secure a Jay-z feature for one of their artists or clear a sample of his voice and he said "Only if your top guy doesn't do a record with ____" they would likely agree, depending on what they were looking to get.

LOL @ Jay-z being better connected in any city vs another. You are really small minded breh. The guy is extremely powerful and this isnt 1967. His facetimes connect, his jets connect, and his money stretches coast to coast.

I don't know what the fukk you are talking about.

We are talking about Jim Jones being blackballed and nothing else.

Nobody, and I mean nobody has talked about the ways Jay-z can blackball people except you for no apparent reason.

Let me summarize the discussion:

1. Question: Was Jim Jones Blackballed?

2. Answer : No, evidence shows that he was active on all of these venues and did the same thing as he had been doing.

3. Nobody :

.
.
.

99. Nobody :

100. You : Jay-z has influence in LA, Jay-z can ban people on radio stations by doing this and that. Jay-z can ban people from shows by doing this and that, stop being a stan.

And for the matter about connections, the point about not doing it in NY has to do with it being easier for Jay in NY as most of his business was with those stations. As was Jim Jones. Why would you blackball Jim Jones in Phoenix and not NY if you are gonna blackball him at all :mindblown:

its still funny he nearly spent his Christmas locked up for putting hands on TyTy's batty boy twin brother who he thought was TyTy while he was Ne-Yo in the LV store on Madison Ave on Christmas Eve.

edit-

he did get blackballed. I think it might've been Envy that told him years later.

the man did what he wanted, abused every resource and spent every dollar he could take out of Warner and others and pissed a lot of people off....all while beefing with Jay.
if it wasn't what he did for Trey Songz it prolly would've been worse.

Envy said you couldn't play Dipset in 40/40 club, if that constitutes a blackball, then not a single person would lose a single buck of being blackballed by Jay

I don't know what the fukk you are talking about.

We are talking about Jim Jones being blackballed and nothing else.

Too stupid to understand that this could apply to Jim Jones and any other rapper :snoop:

You seemed to be confused on what Blackballing meant. You seemed to think Jay-z needed to own everything to blackball someone because you are in fact a fukking moron.

Nobody, and I mean nobody has talked about the ways Jay-z can blackball people except you for no apparent reason.

So Nobody in this thread was talking about ways in which Jay-z can black ball people?

I guess Harry B wasn't mentioning getting black balled on TV, radio, working with artists and landing deals below?

How can you be blackballed when you are independent on TV and radio, working with mad people (even def jam artists) and getting a major label deal in the midst of things :dahell:

It's funny you quoted me originally trying to have a discussion and now that you look like a moron you want to back track.

It was brought up because you asked how Jay-z could black ball someone who was on an independent record label. I explained to you exactly how he could for Jim Jones and anyone else.

1. Question: Was Jim Jones Blackballed?

2. Answer : No, evidence shows that he was active on all of these venues and did the same thing as he had been doing.

Are you really answering you own question when you weren't involved weirdo? :dead:

Jim Jones seems to think he was. I would say I will listen to Jim Jones over Harry B the notorious Jay-z stan.

Jay-z can ban people on radio stations by doing this and that. Jay-z can ban people from shows by doing this and that, stop being a stan.

I already explained it to you moron. If you can't understand a very simple sentence, that is on you. He certainly can and has.

Why do you think Nas flipped out and didn't show up for Summerjam? Because Jay-z was pulling strings at HOT97. Jim Jones has said he got black balled, Sauce Money has said it, Dame Dash has said it.

Don't forget what Game said his lady said about how they were gonna go broke and what he said Pharrell said about the beef
