Secretz of war is so much better in OG,and so was MOB,for sumbody who based his flow off the beat you would think they would find it more important to leave the beats unchanged...u don't see how deadly the flow was with sum of the beat changes

There were several reasons why the beats were changed. one of them was paying to clear samples. afeni wasnt tryin to hear that.
they also (estate) wanted to 'update' the beats to fit the era they were released.
johny j also wanted to redo his beats because he stopped sampling and wanted to do original compositions. he realized it was a bad idea later on near his end and was planning on releasing his original versions at some point. thats where alot of the more recent leaks came from.
afeni had the disses removed because she didnt want to offend any other parties and she sure didnt want anything to do with deathrow. eventually they squashed their issues, but johnny j still hadnt been paid for the work he did on death row.
All these original versions were leaked mostly by The Realest, Daz, Johnny J, and several other smaller sources (some other producers, family, people who had shyt boxed up in they closet). They sold them to a few people who were on the net back in the mid-late 90's. i was blessed to have gotten to know these individuals who have blessed me with a majority of the unreleased original shyt well before they were officially leaked.
im sure if you guys look through some of your pac collection, specifically the id3 info, you will find my name attached to it. original Thug Luv before the layzie bone leak was one for example as well as the cdq/no dj versiom of Confessions with Bizzy Bone.
also them dante OG vibe albums, them beats were remade by me way back in the day lol
