A lot of American's dont travel out of the country often so they don't see the world as much as say europeans so therefore they go by what little they see of british culture on TV which is usually the royal family, David Beckham and other white dudes. There arent many globally famous Black british stars really.

I have family on my dad's side that live in East London. I've been to London three times in my life and loved every bit about it.

I was actually surprised at how many black folks there were in London. Actually I was pretty surprised t how diverse it was period. Indians, Asians, Whites, Black, african, irish, scottish, french, japanese, chinese, etc...A real melting pot of a city with unique culture. I would urge everybody on this board to goatleast once just to check it out.
