Why do black folks that only date white have the same origin story?

Can't condone the present day coooning but man, kids can be very cruel in how they single differences out. As one poster above stated, we gotta stop the self denigration of black features by black people, especially black children. You should not be able to turn someone against their community by simply being the first to compliment them on their features, that something someone in her family or extended community should have told her and reinforced that shyt.

I went to highschool in Toronto and all the really dark Black dudes here had a nickname that revolved around their skin tone in school from other Black people.

All of them brehs are now exclusively married to white women and I'm not mad at them. But they don't post testimonials about their tribulations or talk about divesting. Black people were/are genuinely more colors truck than "others" :heh:

Some of these people live with real mental trauma. Some are just c00ns.
 went on Vlad and talked about his personal experience growing up in America having Dark skin and the type of shyt he faced to the point where he didn't want to have children because they would go through the same. I would not call dude a c00n but it's sad as hell that he endured that to the point of not wanting to have kids. While we are attacking these people for being c00ns let's not pretend that they don't have valid points they just don't go about it the right way. Many people can validate their experiences.

People always supposed to say you need to let shyt in your childhood go but that's the foundation of who you are as a person.
You don't build a house and then be like "Hmm I don't like this foundation. Let me swap it out." You just try to reinforce, strengthen, and paper over what's already there.

This thread reminds me of the Lauryn Hill thread. Just cause yall went through something and came out ok dont mean everyone is the same. I swear this place has the dumbest nikkas imaginable. I got roasted and I'm good. So? :mjtf:
I got roasted and I'm good too but y ole girl gotta be all types of bytches and dumbasses? :hhh:

But you’re experience wasn’t necessarily the same as hers. Maybe it comes down to parenting and teaching as well. I just don’t understand why people rush to dismiss someone else’s experiences. Shot on her for what she’s saying now. No problem. But the “I was bullied and I was fine” group are dismissing her experiences.

Yeah, I think what we're missing here is parenting. She wasn't equipped to deal with stuff that a lot of us consider basic childhood bullshyt, and she easily could have been. The way we process things during those years is crucial. She was set down this path and was never steered off it.

Why does it matter? As long as they aren't going out of their way to shyt on other black people. Not that this is the case anyway and even if it was you just answered your own question.

I feel like it’s mental illness. This one was wild to me too. Chick tore up a book by MLK in the name of the divest movement bc he was allegedly smashing white hoes

Wow, she's a demon. To think that a rumor being spread of sleeping with a white woman is the worst thing to a black woman. She sure acts more bothered by it than Coretta did.

Read her timeline and she became a hardcore c00n/CAC supporter...

But, even moreso a Black Man hater. We gotta do better with our dark-skinned sisters..but that doesn’t justify this level of c00ning

c00n babble :yeshrug:

One of the women that replied to that thread has this as her bio:

:dwillhuh:

these people are not normal. Twitter pretty much gave a platform to mental illness, but the most worrying aspect is that these individuals became the loudest voices and supposed normal folks were indoctrinated.
Jesus, I clicked on her profile - she's a middle-aged prostitute who cosplays as a witch - and her profile is literally nothing but demonizing Black men.

She was arguing that Black men were the first slave-holders :gucci:

Bedwench/bedbuck babble

generalize blacks based on their interactions with a very small sample size but give whites the benefit of the doubt and treat them like individuals

if you date out and you say ANYTHING about what blacks people did to you as the reason why, you are spitting bedbuck/bedwench babble

Just say that you’re open to dating whatever race and you met someone you liked. It’s really that simple.

I've never dated a cac and never will.

But Chicago and Milwaukee nikkas who are PAWGing here in Minneapolis say it's because there are literally no white women in their neighborhoods where they're from, so when they meet one they gotta have em. Like it's a special treat or some shyt

Celebratory bucking :unimpressed:
Too many black people seem to have the same story. And I know when I was in elementary and middle school, the darker you were, the fatter you were, the nappier you were, the ashier you were, the cornier you were, you got it bad. And it was consistent. We wouldn't let up.

A Nigerian girl that I was in elementary school got teased to no end. She was, as far as I could remember, not attractive. We thought she was ugly. She constantly got teased. Today, she is drop dead gorgeous. But to this day she will not post full pictures of herself on social media.

That shyt stays with you. And I'm not judging nobody for how they react to mental, physical, and verbal trauma that they had to endure as kids.

It's fight or flight. That is the natural human response. I am not going to judge you if you decide to flee.

We need to be more introspective as a people with the factors that are causing people to want to leave.

We're too small in numbers to have some among our ranks working against us. That's a house divided.

I agree with the first part of what you're saying - but I cannot with the second part. An adult who can't separate how children treated them decades ago - from the entirety of the adult population - is not just "traumatized." They're actively antagonistic. You don't "flee" from an entire race of people, an entire ethnicity, because some kids called you "chalkboard."

I can guarantee you she wasn't bullied by that many kids - even the kids who face wholesale rejection from their peers don't actually get bullied by that many people - but it gets internalized and magnified because it becomes sensitive.

She's in pictures with her Black friends too - so clearly she can differentiate between who she was friends with and everyone else.

I know the chick in this discussion. We did a photo shoot downtown Atlanta over a decade ago. It was around 2006 or 2007 I believe. We were Myspace friends at the time too. We had a cool friendly relationship. I never got the Wench vibes from her then. Its funny how life works sometimes eh?
