I don’t think she was ugly but I can’t remember. Most of the somewhat attractive ones In the divest community I’ve seen are sexworkers

I am curious as to why you quoted my post when I am probably the only person in here who has some sort of sympathy for this woman...
Also, who said that only those who date outside their race are self hating? No one has said this so where are you getting your info? There are plenty of self hating black people with black spouses. Light skin vs dark skin, good hair vs bad hair are proof of this.
And did you miss the part where I said " Everyone doesn't heal the same and some are still recovering"? You should have quote someone who disagrees with your stance.
Why did you choose to get defensive when I didn't even come @ you funky? I quoted you because I thought that you would be sensible enough to have a mature discussion on this topic.
Next, I never read a thread nor post of any Black person being self loathing except for those who date/marry exogamously.

One thing I don't like is someone who purposely choose to get into a karate stance when they know they are not being attacked. BTW, when you make a post, it is subjected to being quoted by anyone who reads it. If you prefer specific people to respond to your posts, then send them a private message or better yet don't respond to those you don't want to address. Sorry if I offended you. My point is that you should ask these questions to those who disagree with you. I cannot tell you what they are thinking or why they think the way they do. I personally only label someone as self hating if they exhibit self hating signs or behaviors.

All I'll say is that these type of people should do their thing but shouldn't feel the need to explain their actions to people that mostly don't care about them.

If you read my first response to you, I extended my query to others as well. I also recognized that you had some compassion for that woman which is why I initially responded to you because I thought you were mature enough to have a real discussion. Therefore my query is for you or anyone else. You did come off IMO, but I respect they way you handled it which is why I decided to respond to you again.

They go out of their way to disassociate with Black people.

She was going to get picked on no matter what, if we’re being truthful. Kids are mean, and that’s what they do.
I went to school with white kids. I got made fun of due to my big lips (white boy used to call me Bubba), I got made fun of by other white kids for having great grades, and being a kid who didn’t get in trouble. You’re going to get made fun of as a kid. You have to learn to clown back, and develop tougher skin. I did get the dark skin jokes from other black kids growing up, and it was white women who were always complimenting my dark skin tone, but life has taught me that the same things she’s complaining of black folks picking on her about, little white kids would’ve done the same thing. She just wasn’t around them like that growing up.
If she wants to date white, then go ahead, but this sob story of hers isn’t really necessary. We’ve all dealt with it. All of us; white and black folks.

That's the most absurd part - they're working harder than anyone else to literally take the melanin out of their bloodline.What’s the end goal for these people? All end up married with white/non-black men?
On social media they front like they’re all about and for the interests of black women, specifically dark skinned black women, but surely marrying and reproducing with non-black men is counter-intuitive and counter-productive to anything pertaining the advancement and existence of black women, no?
Its a kind of desperation - they want their kids to appeal to whites in a way they couldn't. Its pretty sick conditioning - and it can't be blamed on the bullying alone.

I have never in life heard a white person say they date IR because they were teased by other white kids in school.

If any of you die today killed by a cop, these types would celebrate and deny you any humanity. I'm not trying to pick their brain.
If I extended such an olive branch to those types, then I'd have no justification not to do the same for (actually white) white supremacist, nazis, and KKK members. Everyone is tossed around by strings of causes and events which amount to who we are and what we do. That's how it works in our seemingly deterministic world.
This truth doesn't matter anymore once you're actively working against us. I agree that it's important to try and avoid more cases long term, but it's still Kobe straight to the trash with you.
