Why do black folks that only date white have the same origin story?

Doctors, engineers, financiers, PHDs(non-art based). The very definition of a PhD(non-art based) requires that you discover and advance knowledge which no other man has ever done before you. Seems like that defines cream of crop perfectly .



The overwhelming amount of these individuals had to disassociate from black folk to get there. They are out here building and sustaining the societies of others while their own communities are in shambles





Look at NeilDegrasse who grew up in the Bronx in the 80s and 70s, but has failed to do the exact same outreach that white people like astronomer Carl Sagan did for him by pulling him out and elevating him. Its very telling that he lives in Manhatten giving time and resources to PETA( white animal org.) while his own community of the bronx has the highest dropout rate(an issue he could solve) and It lacks financial resources.

With that being said, i have a very, very, very different take on this. I'll divide it into two sections.


1.) In regard to his news interview, the reason black people are tasked with talking about black issues is because they are the most pressing problems for US .




I aint a religious breh, but @God Almighty 's son allegedly said,

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye." Luke 6:41 - 42

In this sense, black folk are doing far worse than the breh in Jesus's analolgy. We are at the bottom of all political, economic, and social metrics literaly everywhere on the planet just as Marcus Garvey saw in the 1920s. We are out here walking around with a telephone pole in our eyes, trying to give eye exams to crehs.



More over, Tyson alerting others of astronomic phenomenon will do very little to stop his own george floyd incident when he steps out his Manhatten apartment.



There are bigger issues(and subjects) to address for us. Dyson isn't 100% wrong.









2.) The concept of symbolism and placing black folk in high places straight up does not work. Its a baby-boomer mentality that Tyson was never able to shake off. You really cant change the minds of white people.

The acomplishnents of one black person are attributed to the individual, while the failings of the individual are ascribed to the group. It's just more respectability politics if you ask me.



Remember that King was killed in a 3 piece suit, being respectable.

B) double standards by the people who propagate them.

Buddhists authorities preached peace and compassion but engaged in rape and murder. Christians preached salvation and love, but engaged in rape and murder. Muslims the same. Hindus the same. Ancient Egypt the same. Ancient Sumer the same.


C) both religious people and atheists have no solution to the origin of God. It always seems to ends in infinite regression or hamster wheeling.
