Why do Blacks try to Discredit Eminem?

black people on the internet seem to have some type of superiority complex


they'll immediately discredit an album review for example, specifically because of the race of the author. the accuracy of their criticisms or praise aside, the mindset is - this person isn't black, therefor nothing they say holds any merit.

Having a horrible catalog of music isn't something the greatest artist in a genre is acclaimed for.

White people have that superiority complex. Not blacks. Black people can listen to an artist and enjoy it for what it is. White people cant do that. They have to declare whatever they like "they greatest thing of all time". You have to understand its only natural for a black person to not like an artist when you have CERTAIN white people, who know nothing and dont even listen to hip-hop outside of Em trying to tell us who the best rapper alive is. There aren't any blacks who listen to Darius Rucker and claim him to be the greatest country musician of all time.

On topic, Em has had missteps, ups and downs, whatever you want to call it, but you can't deny his gifts. One of the most complete and talented individuals to ever pick up a mic. Period.

I've seen it happen too many times on this site.. Most recently with pitchforks review of Jay-Z's Magna Carta album. They gave it a 6.5 or something, and people instantly started discrediting the reviewer as white. Like instantly, brah. People couldn't simply disagree, it had to be "oh he's a hipster cac fakkit so he's wrong"..

and its like bruh, what makes his opinion any more or less valid than yours? How do you know how much hip hop this person does or doesn't listen to? But none of that matters to dudes... like I said, the mindset is you're not black, so you're wrong. shyt is wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiild. I ain't trippin tho, it's funny to me. I really don't care lol, I'm just acknowledging it as a potential answer to the OP's question.
