Why do cacs glorify Alexander the Great? He was a monster in real life

How would he have pulled it off in today's world though? We don't live in an era where someone can go out and conquer the world like Alexander and Genghis Khan did in their time.

Most likely through business or a different sport.

If he was even halfway as interested in governing as he was in traveling, he would’ve built the Roman Empire 300 years in advance. He had Egypt, Asia Minor, Persia and Greece. That’s essentially the borders of the Byzantine/Ottoman Empire. Even larger actually. He just needed to sit down for 25 years and raise up his kids but instead he caught malaria in India, lost half his army stubbornly walking through a desert to get back home which likely aggravated his illness with the heat exhaustion and that’s why he died. Dumb :yeshrug:
