@Marcozen , a lot of nationalities forget the reason why they are able to come to America and do shyt that they aren't even able to do in their own countries some times, not just Caribbean folk. It's like they forget about the sit-ins, peace rally's, marches, the fights in courts, and etc., that Black Americans went through just so muthafukkas can eat at the same restaurants together at the very least.

So they come here and act snobby/snooty like a CAC dude would... some even looking up to CAC. It's kinda time that Black Americans realize what our people went through and did for America also...Sometimes I feel like we owe it to them to be better than the bullshyt they try to portray us as in television.

Like last night, I'm out in clubs just wandering with my dawg. Clubs where I'm at are boring and wack as fukk. FOB Asian people doing wack shyt like Buy-Me-Drinky bars or being strippers when they have the body of a 12 year old and can't dance for shyt. So some asian bytch has the nerve to think we were following just because we were walking down the same street. She stops and clutches her purse as me and my dawg just walk by barely acknowledging her but I noticed her enough. It's just sad how little respect we get out here... or that we give ourselves. This country was built on the backs of our forefathers yet EVERY culture tries to treat us like second class citizens

Oh, Look it is another so called victimized black person claiming that every race doesn't like him because he is black American.:shaq2: Thread like this doesn't help but create false assumptions. Your post is all wrong. Very wrong.

Oh.. ok

:comeon:

Anyway, no one is trying to be a fukking victim, it's a fact. Who's back was it built on?

I've been around enough different cultures to form my opinion. Everyone wants to be black but not actually be black. If you read my post, I was basically saying it's time for more black people to do something or continue to keep doing things that would make our forefathers proud

First, United States has been built by all immigrants with different ethnic backgrounds.

Second , :childplease: @ the bolded. I'm Haitian, fool. I'm black because my skin said so, and I don't have problem being a black man, for I'm comfortable in my own skin. Many Caribbeans feel the same way about themselves. I've met many folks from the West Indies who have pride in their skin tone and culture :obama:

As a Haitian descendant, I don't have any animosity toward black American. I have gotten beat up and got verbally abused by black Americans because I'm Haitian. Despite that ugly experience that I faced, I still don't hold any grudges toward my own kind. I understand some of our own people have been neglected by their parents to hate and lack understanding. They hate for Black Americans by Africans and Caribbean is completely exaggerated.

True to a certain extent, but don't act as if Black Americans weren't at the forefront and the main focus of hatred in Americas. Don't act as if those marches, peace rally's, and assassination of black leaders weren't sacrifices that Black Americans made in the past.

And I'm sorry if you experienced that from black americans actually.. I wouldn't understand the reason why they would attack you for being Haitian, because it's all the same to me. I don't care if people are proud of their culture and heritage, I was speaking in terms of snobbiness. SOME Haitian men, from my experience, have been the snobbiest of the Caribbean people I have lived around.

growing up in Miami, I didn't see too many people Haitian on Black crimes or w/e other nationality... But I wasn't really paying attention to other cultures like that. I just never saw it that way, mostly everyone got along or beefed for reasons other than culture. I know the Caribbean people have dislike between other Islanders... It's like that with Latino's too

I will never denied the ultimate sacrifice that the Black Americans have made to attain equality, civil rights, and resources to improve the black community. I have great respect for Black American leaders and admired their ambition and courage to change our society.

Moreover, the hate for Haitian was quite intense in the 80s and 90s. If you didn't grew up in those decade then you wouldn't understand. It was one of those issues in black neighborhood of South Florida that got swept under the rug. If you have Haitian friends born in the 80s or in prior decades, they most likely have encountered the same hate as I did in the past.

In addition, there are snobby people in every culture, friend. Those Haitian people you have came across doesn't represent entire Haitian population. There are so many cool Haitian folks in Miami. You probably haven't met them, but one day you will and your perception will change.

Finally, the hate between Caribbean people is exaggerated unless they are Latinos. I have no idea why some Puerto Ricans can't stand Cubans. They all look the same to me and have similar culture .. However, most black Caribbeans get along fine. I never encounter any problems from any black Caribbean outside of my nationality. Hate between Black Caribbean is not common.

Yeah man, i didn't grow up there in the 80's or 90's so I didn't see it much or understand

And I know they are snobby people no matter where you go. I was saying that there were some and out of all the Caribbean people SOME Haitian men (not the women) is where I got my impressions from... But it definitely wasn't all of them. Half the time I couldn't tell they were even Haitian unless they made it be known or if I heard their last names. One of my coaches was a Haitian guy, real good dude... he was the guy that helped me begin my football campaign down there...

And oh, ok. I didn't say they didn't get along though man. Everyone generally got along down there in Miami. It is DEFINITELY worse in the Latino community. Puerto Ricans don't like Dominicans, Colombians don't like Mexicans, none of them like Cubans, etc. It's kinda weird... but they all listen to the same Dominican, Puerto Rican, Colombian artist or something

this thread is funny :pachaha:
That doesn't mean rock is black because it was invented by us :umad:..Quite frankly I find it laughable black people go on about inventing a genre a music, that whites not only made better but fostered the culture to take it where it went. It is what it is breh.

To the thread, man black americans got to stop. :snoop: This shyt happens with Africans, Caribbeans and black latinos. Maybe it's us. I can understand because those groups of people have distinct cultures and are very proud of them. Whereas our culture intertwines with Southern cac culture. It's almost like that shame manifests itself into jealousy of other black cultures. Let them people cook. No one is upset about Indians doing their thing, Asians doing their thing, but black americans are upset that these people are doing their thing independent of us. Newsflash we aren't the only "black" people in the world.

you got a point, but black american Culture is really unique because of that when you think about it. It hard to explain...

We do owe it to our prior generation to end the excessive celebrating over civil equality and get back to the integrity respect and community responsibility that they had back then. And these mfers can eat a dikk talkin that "poor black folks cryin victim"...my people ain victims, and those that claim they are need to get over it. With that being said I ain forgot what my elders went through at the hands of American white folks and just like the strength we received passed down from the marchers and freedom fighters their pain was passed down as well. All this c00ning and glorified ghetto ignorance is a reflection of that pain.

@O.T.I.S. I went through similar shyt recently ( peoples unnecessary reaction to my blackness) I'm out doing the rocky balboa thing, jogging thru high end downtown area, I stop periodically to knock out some inclines , these two cac bytches staring and mean muggin me like "what does that ****** think he's doing!" It's clear as day I'm exercising but they lookin like they wanna call the police and shyt. Guess they ain used to seeing a black man running unless blue lights and sirens behind him. Piss me off too because they fukked up my count. I was like "do ya want me to fukk you up or fukk you " lol

I don't think carribeans or Africans "hate" us. I just don't get the "we're not ******s like them" attitude from alot of em. And I'm not exaggerating I've seen and experienced it 1st hand AND I've flat out called a few of em out on it and they either acknowledge it, play dumb, or stay away from me because they kno I'm right. And dam sure ain't a inferiority thing from my end either , please!! Don't make me laugh!!!

Don't give a fukk what country you from just respect me and mine and ill respect you and yours period. Don't shyt on my people while that bloody flag protecting ya black ass

And for you uppity cac-loving foreigners don't ask me that "why are black Americans so blah blah blah slurp slurp slurp" shyt either. I could ask you why your woman wants to fukk me but I don't because I'm not stupid and I don't SAY STUPID shyt!! Lol

You see this happening in the Caribbean too. Jamaicans hate Trinis, Trinis hate Haitians, Kittians hate Bajans etc. etc. etc.

Black people love shytting on each other.
I feel you fam, but I don't cosign that shyt regardless of who does it. I'm a first generation American of Haitian descent. I never correct anyone that refers to me as African American because, even in a technical sense, I am African American. Whether it's the light skin/dark skin bullshyt or the African American/other blacks thing it's just black people fragmenting themselves.
