Why Do Certain Smarks Hate Celebs So Much?

So I've been lurking other wrestling forums for about 11 years now and one thing I've always noticed is that smark forums have this huge apprehension against celebrities, especially black celebs.

It really doesn't make sense to me because if they were truly up on their history they'd know that Mr. T and Mike Tyson are damn near the reason WWE exists today and that Mayweather gave WWE it's highest buyrate of all time.

Even with white celebs they to shyt on them which makes even less sense to me. Can't they see that mainstream attention helps wrestling grow. If even 1% of the people watching the Ball family clips starts watching wrestling, it puts the industry into a better situation.

I see threads on other forums where they complain about wrestling not being as popular but then when a segment like last night happens, they claim it was as bad as "This Is Your Life"

TSC brehs can you enlighten me on why certain smarks hate celebes?

Don't 'eem much know fam Vince has made it painfully clear that it's supposed to be "entertainment" so I don't see why it's so prestigious if an off the street celebrity isn't going full WCW and winning belts.




I will say that the celebrity mount Rushmore is pretty dark if you catch my drift though

Because the smarks that chant you deserve it and all that dont want celebrities coming in and beating wrestlers or making them look bad. It makes smarks feel bad about taking something they put a lot of time into seriously.

WWE kind of trains fans to think like that too with how much they bring up and bury WCW and Arquette.

Last night isnt comparable to Tyson, Mayweather, or Malone/Rodman. Lavar did some goofy karate poses, the kids laughed, and they didnt say a word about the guy that's supposed to be representing them (Ambrose) in the angle.

Because wrestling hardcores are passionate nerds. Anything that differs from their hiveminded definition of a 'good match' or 'good segment' gets hate. They dont understand wrestling can succeed outside of those perimeters.

Mainly because a lot of celebrity aren't wrestling fans and come off completely clueless when there on the show. If there a genuine celebrity that known about the business and is an actually fan then fans don't have a problem with them but that few and far between.

Dude from Arrow didn't get a lot of hate because he was a legit fan same with Mike or even Snoop but then you have guys calling Summerslam Summerfest or stupid segment with R-Truth blowing up and that why fans hate when celebrity show up more time then not.

true but gotta take into account that in recent years, Vince hasn't been striking while the iron was hot with celebrities. How many of the Raw guest hosts were popular or doing anything majorly relevant when they hosted.
