sometimes it is funny watching them trivialize black issues by simplifying everything to "if you disagree with this ill-conceived nonsense I'm about to say, you're a c00n" or personally attack people who aren't perfectly aligned with their stance and opinions, it just shows how irrational and loosely based in reality a lot of their shyt really is

and sometimes you can make threads like this and watch them out themselves, posting thru clinched teeth and tight knuckles as they think of anything they can to discredit the messenger while proving the message right

but the biggest tragedy is how the coli has morphed over the years, to where it seems to be inviting to these carbon copy armchair militants. I've seen many of them declare the coli is supposed to be a platform for them to regurgitate the same insults and talking points dozens of times a day; they believe that back in 2012 the coli was created with them in mind

instead of being sport, hip hop and piff, they think this is a hub for pseudo-militants to retort, flip flop and bytch


many of the more sensible posters saw this trajectory coming and warned about it, but the great thing bout groupthinking is how easy and painless it is; it was easier for the masses to keep repping, dapping and arguing in and about shytty racebait threads, and c00n/bedwench topics, than it was to go against the grain and question the effectiveness or ultimate goal of that kind of fukkery

now that kinda lazy, antagonistic armchair activism is so ingrained into the culture of the site that we actually refer to em as coli militants

this is exactly what is going on & I personally don't have a real problem with it on this forum. For one, everything can't be taken seriously here, 2. can any of you point how that type of 'fire' has profoundly hindered other races progress. I will wait for a clear rebuttal.

While the black women bashing & the continuous berating of 'c00n's can take some curbing, I would like to hear an alternative to this type of groupthink that works for its people. I believe the coli's influence is substantial and has helped move the needle of the black mindset to a more cohesive defense against sambos. This needs to happen sooner rather than later imo.

I can't think of any issue I agree with KingpinOG on, but I don't think he should be banned just because his views antithetical to most of the board. That's some emotional hoe shyt.

Kingpin is a racist and a troll, but he's been a valuable contributor to HL and KTL before it for years because most of the posters there are black liberals, and him being a white conservative who pretty much parrots Fox News/talking radio talking points gives people a diametrically opposed perspective to interact with.

We all just a bunch of imperfect people who want to share our thoughts, while joking, laughing, arguing, debating, and overall fukking around with as community of like minded, decent people from all walks of life as we all make sense of the world. I cant make sense of the core of vultures who have taken over this site and pushed it into such a dark and irrational place in the last few months.

The innnanet aint supposed to be serious. I avoid surfing around, and frequenting extremist sites 'cause I aint about that life. But without hyperbole this has become an insanely extremist place to visit, and almost completely removed from its earlier days, and its SOHH legacy. I literally cant believe some of the shyt Ive read here, and the "mo'ne davis bedwench thread" truly bothered me in a way an internet thread never has before.

Interacting with these people has made me a worse person. Thats not what this shyt is for, I dont need it in my life, and sooner rather than later you and I have to come to terms with the axiom that when a fool and a learned man argue they become indistinguishable from a distance. Its pretty close to time to move on.

I'm talking specifically about his posting history in HL and KTL. He's a valuable contributor because he says what about 30-35% of the American population believes, and he'll argue point for point with you. You can live in a bubble and disregard 30-35% of the population, and the entire makeup of the Republican party if you want, but that's not a wise path, as you have to live in this world and feel the effects of them.

Sometimes he'll say something about a certain policy proposal, or law, or take a position on an issue that warrants a bit of digging to counter with facts. For instance, he made a thread where he's speaking against the minimum wage law in Seattle, and it prompted a decent discussion. He made another thread about Michael Brown that was incendiary and abrasive and bytch ass mrken12 was up in event staff begging cook and brooklynzson to ban him as usual, but it ended prompting a good discussion about the DOJ findings regarding the Brown shooting and the corruption in the Ferguson police department.

Just because someone's wrong, or you don't agree with them doesn't mean you disregard the existence and relevance of their argument.

I don't understand people who want to ban people who oppose the dominant perspective of the board. What type of board do you want? One that's akin to a bunch of dudes dikkriding each other, dapping, and co-signing each other like they're shirtless in a Chief Keef video? What's the point of discussion serious issues if you only want to talk to people who agree with you?
