Keep separating yourselves dumb nikkas. Lets argue about an art form that wouldn't even be possible if not for other art forms. All created by black people.

Here this shyt goes again...

I got love for Cali, but y'all nikkas get damn near delusional when y'all start talkin' and tryin' to negate NY just to pump y'all shyt up. Cause in all reality, y'all talk about how NY was so inferior and didn't have no good beats, etc... and whole time, all them nikkas y'all pump up that came from the West grew up on NY rap. shyt, LA had an all-hip-hop radio station in the 80s... you know good and hell well they played NY rap, cause there wasn't even enough Cali stuff out there yet to only play that on the station. They came up listening to NY hip-hop just as much as they listened to Cali shyt. And all of those artists you mentioned have just as many NY influences as Cali influences. Snoop was a Slick Rick fan, Kurupt's favorite MC was Rakim, all that shyt. Knock it off.

I believe he's from Philly too

Regardless man...

That era of rap is not like that 90s shyt nikkas talk about where there was a coastal divide and all that bullshyt. Rap music from NY was played nationwide... all those dudes from Cali grew up listening to that stuff, dudes from Down South listened to it, Midwest or wherever. Ice Cube, Snoop, Dre, Pac, 40, whoever... they came up off that shyt. They respect all the rappers from that era. That divide only exists in nikkas' minds who for some reason are still living in a time in which this rivalry is still goin' on.
