If they don't get a running game or receivers, they won't be doing shyt again.

That and the fact the NFC east pretty much has the same schedule besides two games. So if Dallas schedule gonna be tough then the eagles, giants, redskins will be as well

Future looks bright offensively. They can be proud. :hubie:

Defensively we are going to hear a lot of it's not Daks fault the defense gave up the game winning TD/FG or third and 6. :sas2:

Carr's,Claiborne's Wilcox's and Church's contracts are up. Romo is taking up like 20% of the cap. Scandrick is done. Gregory is gone. Lawrence is an average player. Only bright spots on D. Anthony Brown. Sean Lee. And Free agent to be David Irving. :patrice:
What you hearing from most Cowboy fans is the ineptitude of the coaching staff over anything. As far as contracts that are up, I'm fine with that. None of those are getting large contracts anywhere and even with Dallas. Romo could be traded and designated after June 1st or a June 1st cut, the team still would rather build through the draft instead of free agency. In the next couple years, te salary cap will improve for Dallas when these bloated contracts are off the books that jerry made.

if dak and zeke dont get one then what u gon say ?

:yeshrug: They would have underachieved but like Romo I wouldn't be surprised if it moreso on the ineptitude of the front office and the coaching staff than them

Because Dallas has the infrastructure to be competitive for at least the next 5 years. They have a talented young QB that made a seamless transition from a banged up veteran, an elite RB, a borderline elite WR, an elite O-Line, and a promising defense that would be better if they stopped drafting knuckleheads on defense.

Cowboys only hope is to literally use every single pick on defense this year & hope they find a few gems. Long term I think they'll be competitive but I don't understand why yall have a problem with the rg3 comparison. I think it's pretty on point. The redskins thought they were just a few players away from a super bowl after that first rg3 season & it all came crashing down the next few years. Even though the future may seem bright, nothing is guaranteed.

Lets see:
  • Younger/non-injury prone QB who was top 5 in QB rating as a rookie
  • Best Back in Football
  • Best OL in Football
  • Top 5 WR when healthy
  • Good slot corner in Beasley
  • A consensus top 5 draft prospect in 2016 before the injury, returning
  • Best LB in football
  • 29 wins in the last 3 seasons, even though our starting QB missed 12 games
  • Lost 7 road games out of the last 24
  • Have the most wins in the NFC East over the last decade despite our starting QB missing 27 games
  • 5 all pros
  • Our biggest threat/rival has an aging QB and no O-line to speak of

Eagles were the last ones 2001-2004.

Could have been more if it wasnt for Damn T.O. and Donovan bickering:mjcry:
Yall had Duce Staley and Westbrook, right. Your receivers outside of TO was meh with Mitchell and Pinkston but your running game was pretty good during that times, if not great. Not to mention, you had Jim Johnson as Defensive coordinator who did not get his due when he was there.

Well leadership on and off the field is the difference between these two. You don't have players and media members coming at Dak like you did for RG3. Not to mention, one is a QB who looks to run most times while the other looks to pass most times.
