my wife put me on game, the real money maker is . . . . . the numbers game

her parents alone clear 20k a week. . . . from one location, they own 3 stores

a lot of bodegas are involved, her step dad has actually been robbed at gun point twice for the numbers cash, most likely inside jobs:francis:

the hustle :wow:

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Gentrification is hurting the Dominican stores the most though while it seems the Middle Easteners are just growing with more corner stores and Delis!

I’m young but I heard back in the 70s the Dominican stores were run by Ricans.

There were three Dominican owned corner store by my parents church but now 2 of them are now owned by Arabs!

I'm tired of hearing bout what everyone else owns

Where our shyt at?

What industry/lane do we control? Whats our niche?
Oh easy

The black man’s niche is ‘hating other, especially successful, black men’

If only we were half as passionate about creating our own businesses.. but nah let’s use our time to beef and diss other brothers.

:hhh:

Just in my block alone theres 3 bodegas, 2 by dominicans and 1 that used to be a bakery (owned by a dominican) turned into a bodega owned by an arab.
