The in shape thing is definitely overblown. Being in great shape will impress another man before it does a woman. Avg build is usually preferred. Long as a man looks decent in some basic cloths he can eat if he has decent personality and nice face

As someone who has been flabby, average and in shape I can tell you thats not all true. Women by far prefer a man thats in shape. I receive substantially more attention from women now that I'm in shape.

I'm in no way saying an average or flabby dude can't eat well out here but If all things are equal most women are picking a man that has a nice physique over an average build or dad bod guy.
