Why do Jamaicans have the worst costumer service ?

Went to Jamaican spot in the hood for something to eat two days ago

There was a sign outside displaying a special (jerk chicken, rice & plaintain for $5). I walk in and ask it. The lady (who didn't even greet me) tells me it's $6 and there's no plaintain

Carribbean spots irrespective of which country are pretty bad BUT Nigerians got them beat went to a Nigerian spot on Sunday night where they only ONE guy handling the bar taking orders and handling the cash.

I felt sorry for the dude because he was young mid 20s and had to deal with the wrath of African elders complaining about the service and not getting the order right lol and you know culturally young Africans dont talk back to elders. Went to an African lounge once went to the bathroom and looked at the sink and these fools had DAWN dish soap to wash your hands.

The only ethnic spots I have gone to with top notch customer service were Ethiopian restaurants in DC but I guess they have no option because they cater to a wider crowd and tourists are in those heavy.

Just tried a new place in Detroit in the New Center area.

At 1:30
-they were out of pepper fries(after they already took my order)
-the soda fountain was broken
-the men's restroom was out of order.
-was directed to the women's room which had no soap or paper towels.

The jerk chicken and jolliof rice was A1 though

And they were nice so.

Ive eaten there dozens and dozens of times for years and ive had it THRICE(it trumps everyone elses so i keep trying) that and the Tasso frit become stuff of legend since its always on the menu but available 4% of the time lol

Put yourself in their position. If you had to deal with a bunch of ignorant, unreasonable people all day, every day, it would change your attitude before you even realize it.

When the 48 year-old cashier lady at the rib shack is like "What's your order" in a monotone and 'resting bytch face, I don't take it personal at all.

Nah I'd say Italians at those authentic Italian restaurants.
It's always some greasy looking short dude with a nasty attitude barking orders at people and impatient with the customers. Always talm bout his family in NY.
