Nah, I've never understood holding a whole gender responsible for the actions of one person. Just don't fukk with the person that did you wrong. I understand not trusting as easily as before, that's learning from your mistakes. And women do this too, hence "all men are dogs". Dating is hard outchea:mjcry:

It's kinda like this.

Most, not all, but most men were raised to believe women were these angelic, flawless creatures. And we believed we had to be on top of our shyt, basically be the best man we could be in order to attract the best woman.
When that first inevitable betrayal comes, it literally shakes the foundation of a man. You learn that everything you thought women were is a lie. You learn how selfish and cold and callous a woman can be when you no longer have her favor.
Then, the rules change.
You learn that you don't have to be the best man or really even be a good man. All you have to do is be a little bit more exciting and a little bit flashier than the dude she's with now. That's it. There's no honor or depth to it.
You learn that women are as simple as we are.
So we adapt.
We stop giving our all, because it wasn't going to matter anyway.
We stop being honest, because we learn that ya'll don't covet honesty.
We look out for ourselves, because it's what you would do in our situation.

That one woman who got the best of us, well she'll never know, nor would she care.

I wouldn't say men give up on love, more that the issue that many battle with after going through certain situations is the risk v. reward. The price you pay for hits of emotion, blissful feelings and love is like a see saw of is it worth it hmmmm? And after awhile with the same scenario playing out you reach a point where you are now unwilling/hesitant to take that risk.

However I would say a $100 dollar bill even ripped, dirtied, faded and forgotten somewhere in a crevice still holds it value. And so does men of integrity and a genuine heart, just gotta stop giving these low quality brehettes play juts because they look good, emotional bonding with the wrong woman always leads to disaster and can affect you emotionally, mentally, physically, financially.
