Why do men take child support so personally?

All of this ignores that a man can marry a woman have a child with her that he loves, then end up divorced with limited custody paying child support. You seem to want to focus on the deadbeats but men taking care of their kids to the best degree they are allowed end up caught up in the system as well because getting full custody as a father is damn near impossible.
If I were a father doing everything I could to be in my kids life and make sure they were provided for and a judge who never met me and knew nothing about me decided to say I wasn't doing enough as a father I'd be pissed. I would take that very personally.
I know there are some bums who don't do right by their kids but let's not pretend they are the only ones involved with child support.

I know a girl whose child father quit his job to avoid paying support.. I also know somebody else who worked off the books to avoid..
Child support is complicated... I mean does Nas' son need 36000 a month... not really... there should be an average amount per child ... What makes the child different who has 35/month versus the child who gets 200 versus the child who gets 1000 or up

The women who use child support as a weapon is what I'm talking about.
I speak of the women who have support from the man but when he finds someone else, she drops that sword on him.
I speak of the women who aren't mentally stable enough to mother their children, there are a lot of them out there, getting calls on them to DCF.
In those instances, the state will automatically side with them (it doesn't even take much to get the support started when you compare it to getting it terminated) and then you have a system that's meant to do good by the children be corrupted by fukkery.
There's more I could list but that's from my own experience.

Considering I'm going to have my children during marriage, and if we get divorced will lobby for full-custody, I don't think I'll ever know honestly.
And yes, for the hundreds of thousands of guys who are not in their child's life, and try to avoid any financial responsibility for the life they created, they should be subject to those penalties.
I was answering the question the thread title asked from a perspective you and the person you were Co-signing have been ignoring. That of a good father being told by the courts how to support their child.

So the ratchet can go out and have "fun" and have her kids wearing 2 for 59.99 shoes while she buy those bags she wanted with the free money she's getting every month.
When I speak on child support, I don't include the "welfare queen" men love to bring up.
Nothing is royal or queen like when a woman is sitting on her ass collecting gov't subsidiaries and child support.
Also, the welfare queen makes up a small percentage, especially in my own life with those I know. I know about 2 people who earn welfare and 8 who work a job, pay bills from their earnings and take care of their kids.

You know the old saying.. the minority has the biggest voice... So while the welfare queen is actually a minority.. thats who's the most vocal on both sides of this debate.That's why thats what is always brought up as the example...
if suckas shoot off in a chick that's more interested partying, having fun, and living off the child support payments then that's on them and their poor decision making.
