that's not my argument at all
That's exactly your argument. Cac this, cac that. Cacinem is bad for the hip hop culture because he's a cac

And don't give more of that bu bu bu he talked about raping his mother and doing drugs - like no other rappers have rapped about doing shyt like that. DMX was talking about raping little girls before him fyi, and that shyt sold 4 million records and was in the mainstream. I don't see you claiming DMX was bad for the culture.

You're just upset because a white(cac) rapper has become highly successful in a predominately black culture. I personally don't care if you feel that way, but it's pretty obvious that's your opinion.

You even say it yourself in this post - his talent is irrelevant to you because he's making money off of something started by blacks.
has an above average skillset for formulating rhymes.....but he will never have my respect as an MC because of what he represents. he's another archetype of those who came before him that coveted and capitalized off a culture while simultaneously marginalizing the rightful inheritors.

And you say he has marginalized those who came before him? He seems to be one of the few rappers who is constantly giving tons of props and praise, thanks, etc to the guys who paved the way for him.

And it's not like having a dude of a diff skin color is anything new. In various facets of life there are elite guys of a different skin color than the majority of others in that career/environment/area of expertise. And in some cases you have a guy of a different skin color who rises to the top, when all the top level guys before him were of a different color.
Tiger Woods - best golfer
Jimi Hendrix - best guitarist (although he really was more of a pioneer)
Pele - regarded as the best soccer player (honestly never heard of him/don't follow soccer). Soccer seems like a pretty mixed sport, but he does seem darker skinned than most soccer players :yeshrug:
Imo Denzel Washington is the best actor
Jackie Robinson, Hank Aaron - not regarded as the best in baseball but they're up there
White QBs in football
Larry Bird - not the best but up there
Eminem - not the best but up there

overmarketed cac.
psychotic white boy antics that only psychotic cacs can relate to
he's a crazy white boy that raps and has taken over another form of black culture.
if he wasn't white
him being a cac
when the cacs in control
Why are you defending another nikkas defense for this cac?
He wasn't Hip Hop from the jump. He wasn't being played on the hip hop stations ever. He was played on popular music stations and TRL. His fans were young, white, teenage rebelious ripe consumers. They needed an idol.
but enough for industry heads to know that black artists influencing their perfect lily white generation
but trust and beleive it wasn't easy for him to sell because he was white.
I was in 6th grade when "My Name Is dropped" and I remember being like "oh shyt, a white boy who raps" :ehh: but the white kids saw their new demi-god and gateway drug into the world of hip hop....all of a sudden now he's the GOAT?
Then ask yourself again about who he was designed to resonate to and why? He doesn't deserve a spot because anybody who truly loves the culture knows that he was placed there on purpose to pirate it and whitewash it. He's no different from Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones or anyone else that stole a organically black artform
Of course cacs are gonna love him
It's just a white guy who raps about raping his mother and killing his childs mother
takes the reigns and rides the Hip Hop Stallion into White America to be shown how vile it really is
It's always been deeper than rap and deeper than music for black people. Why do you think we have the gift of doing it so damn well.....and why do you think every era and with every genre we birth they find a way to keep us from the true wealth (financially and more) it produces? I can't stand to hear a nikka say He Loves Hip Hop and Eminem. They don't know what they're really saying. I could've took your argument for the basic face value that most people come from, but I hope everybody who reads this can start to see the cacs have been raping, pillaging and stealing from everyone and will turn right around after the fact and have the nerve to ask you what's wrong and what did they do? It certainly didn't stop with hip hop....and their great white hope Marshall Mathers ain't doing shyt but keeping up tradition.
bu-bu-bu I would never let no cac disrespect me
And to wrap this up i'm not a religious person...but I often hear black Christians say/complain how can the church get away with plastering a cac jesus everywhere
But Ghost is about to do Couples Therapy for peanuts to entertain the hipster cacs and the ratchets.
This cac they trying to find his perfect angle and timing so you can't "hate"
Your hero is still weak and those that truly understand the structure of the culture know he only weakened it because that's what he was designed to do. Period.
White people
Em's "I don't give a fukk attitude" was that of a angry, bitter white college boy
when this cac began his reign.
one of his cac-tunes? He's a rappity rappin' ass cac
Cacs
who rap and openly call themselves the modern day Elvis for stealing black culture
but every point you attempt to dismantle are the key points to why this cac ain't shyt in my eyes. i am a true hip hop fan
the cac invasion spearheaded by marshall mathers
the fact that you even refer to cacinem
be coli prolific brehs. praise cacs.
and the cac just wanted to :rip: his
stan a spineless, ungrateful, occasionally highly lyrical cac...
CACDAYUM!
i'm just gonna respect your allegiance.....but never the cac.

@2manyFCKNrappers this fukking cac term you're using is thrown around too freely. its kinda annoying now.
CAC means CRAKKER ASS CRAKKER. @CHICAGO on sohh made it up bakk in 2007 for his own reasons.
but realize crakker is a racist word now like the fukking N word. same hate and racial profiling in it, and if anyone disagrees you my friend are fukking ignorant.
we're in the 21st millenium now:usure:
both words are used in a racist way and when i was growing up i thought a crakker was a racist white person frm the south.
i didnt think a crakker meant ANY person who had white skin,
bc not all people with white skin lived around or grew up like a honkey or rednekk racist crakker would.
brooklyn isnt as racist as you think because we dont really have any "crakkers" living in brooklyn.
Wops, pollokks, spics, kykes, mics, japs, chinks, and the such did. not honkey rednekk crakkers. :comeon:
those caucasian yuppies u call crakkers moved in your area around the 90's frm manhattan..

so for you to use this word so easily for people you didnt really grow up around is stupid. and the white people u deal with in brooklyn are yuppies and just people with white skin.
trust they really arent a crakker like you are calling them when u say CAC.
unless u know for sure they have that shyt in their blood and have white racist family money.

so again, tell me why u think eminem is a cac and why u cant just type the word WHITE?:patrice:

One thing I can say about Eminem, he is easily a better writer than naS. Even if he purposely uses it to be corny sometimes. He is very deliberate in his word placement which is a large part of being a great writer. naS haphazardly throws nonsensical shyt together and thinks that it is dope.

So I'm at an impasse, is it worse to be extremely deliberate and purposely corny or worse to be unknowingly corny but think that its dope?

I dont know, I view their catalogs as about even although naS has the best album between them with IWW, but he also has the worst album between them with illmatic. naS is the better storyteller, but Em is a more polished writer.

This is a toughie :lupe:

I would be rich if I got a dollar for every time I heard someone say they didn't like rap music but they loved Eminem and Macklemore.

i'm just gonna respect your allegiance.....but never the cac.

I don't respect the fact that you are chalking this whole getting sonn'd to bolivia up to an allegiance and not sound logic or reason...I don't respect the fact you tried to call yourself a "real head" and exclude others without even really being up on what it is you're talking about.

I don't respect the fact that you read that book only to come in here and try to type it up verbatim, nikka couldn't even muster an original thought

There's more, but it's OK. Stop trying to tip-toe around this L though.

Em first 4 albums were crack tho

Encore was wild slept on

He made a few goofy tracks but that was his M.O and even on those he was spittin

MMLP was a certified classic

A lot of hip hop fans say the same bout SSLP and you could argue that for Eminem Show too

Encore was a personal favorite

D12 first album was fire too

Not to mention 8 Mile soundtrack and those verses he spit in the movie were legendary

Slim def one of the GOATs

eminem has fallen completely off, jay and nas havent.... well jay has a bit. hes just run out of things to talk about, and he was never the most creative MC so.... Nas last album is one of his best IMO. neither jay or em can say that.

I havent heard it, but it cant be worse than Yeezus. Cant be. Yeezus is that fukkin bad.

Give it a listen, It's his worst overall album, but it's also his most interesting and has some of his best songs on it. He really gutted the middle of the album by dropping 4 of some of his worst songs damn near in a row save for "Rain Man", one shot two shot was ass too toward the end, everything else was good/great.

If you've seen "The Truman Show" realize that the title and theme for TES was based on that movie, the tone of "encore" not only makes sense but is all too appropriate. Why release "Say goodbye to Hollywood" only to turn around for an ENCORE? Why end the "encore" album itself with a song about retirement? Why so blatantly fukk around on select tracks when asked to re-fry the "first single" formula that he had been complaining about since "The way I am"?. Why go out of your way to distance yourself from your alter ego and then go on to kill it on "when i'm gone" only to disappear for such a long time after?

This would be like asking the "Truman" character for an encore after he learns the truth of his circumstances, except he was able to bow out....

Everything could have been so perfect
But life ain't a fairy tale
I'm about to be hoisted up in the air
Forty feet below me there's people everywhere
I don't even know but who feel like they know me
'Cause I'm on this ferris wheel

And all I wanna do is go to the mall
And take Hallie on the carousel
Without this crowd everywhere I go
But life is like a merry-go-round
Here we go now, do-si-do now
Curtains up the show must go now
Ring-around-the-rosy the show's over
You can all go home now

But the curtains just don't close for me
This ain't how fame was suppose to be
Where's the switch I can just turn off and on?
This ain't what I chose to be
So please God give me the strength
To have what it takes to carry on
Till I pass 50 back the baton
The camera's on, my soul is gone

That's the last verse of the first song on the album...

He was going through a burn out and made an album about it. The question is who the fukk sits down and says "You know what...I'm creatively, mentally and physically tapped, I should drop an album." Why would anyone do that?

eminem-encore-back-cover-41496.jpg

"SOLD OUT"

He was and still is their golden goose. That's what makes the album crazy to me in retrospect because that's exactly what he was trying to get across.

I tell you how tired and isolated I feel, I tell you how my life is falling apart and how I need to rest and sort things and you scream "Encore", you ask me to get back on stage and give you more of THAT for your entertainment/profit. Listening to that album in context of where he was at in life, and where it lead to makes it an important album to peep if you were ever an Eminem fan.
