Well to be absolutely fair hispanics have been done broken themselves into Moreno and light complexions for a long time before English speaking Anglo's decided to bother to figure that out
The only Black populations that need to contend with the existence of Latinos and determine their weight in their fold/ranks are Carribeans/South or Latin Americans.
African Americans and Africans can 100% disregard. They definitely should imo but they never do bc we have a very outsize need for acceptance from "others," despite them NOT being a path to economic/social nor political progress, advancement or thriving in either country/continent.
