Why Do New Yorkers Hype Up Chopped Cheese?

I’m from Atlanta but as a teen worked at 2 cheese steak spots. It’s just a staple for them. New Yorkers just hype all they shyt up. Ain’t nobody eating that shyt outside New York

the lebanese restaurant down the street from me sells chopped cheeses. ive never tried one, i always get a falafel and a gyro.

from what i can tell its like a cheesesteak fukked a sloppy joe. i wouldnt technically call it 'taco meat' since taco meat is broken up beforehand. all the chopped cheese videos i see start with a patty thats cooked on one side, then flipped and chopped before cheese is added. it would just be a cheesesteak except instead of ribeye or sirloin they used ground beef. i mean.. cheesesteaks arent that damn special in the first place. if one of the main ingredients in your sandwich is cheese whiz, well.. i dont really wanna start that fight, but i get mine with Provolone and bacon

but this chopped cheese shyt is just a cheeseburger. i dont know why new yorkers think their food is magical. ive worked at pizza shops that had their water delivered from brooklyn because they claim you need the minerals in the water to get the dough right
