Why do NFL players have more run ins with the law than the other leagues??

Seems every year or so there's a handful of NFL players knee deep in legal trouble. Besides the Kobe rape thing, I cant remember the NBA being in the spotlight like this. And this year we may have two murder indictments before training camp.
Are they just dumb asses or is it something more?

Is it education?
Most NFL guys stay at least through their junior year in college if not all four. Granted they probably wasn't studying ethics and philosophy but you're in a learning institution for years so something had to get through. Right?
Meanwhile NBA dudes were getting drafted out of high school and now one and done.

Wanna play the race card? For those that say more black and minorities = higher crime rate...
NFL=68% minorities. NBA=81%
Granted there are far more NFL than NBA ballers but the math doesn't support the theory.

Is it the macho bravado?
"Helmet syndrome" ? Where playing under a helmet you're face may not be immediately recognizable. So you have to be more forward and brazen to get your name and face out there.

Or the almighty umbrella cop out..concussions.

Football players are the GOAT jocks...dudes feel invincible on & off the field and all they're taught is how to be aggressive and physical. I'm surprised there ain't more NFL related arrests TBH

2. Most of them are on steroids, making them a little more aggressive than your average person
