Here is a pro tip I learned when giving money to fam.

If a motherfukker asking for money to pay a “bill” or something and I think they on BS. I tell them I will swipe my card to pay the bill. That gets em every time. Motherfukkers be like “ok. I’ll call u back” knowing damn well they didn’t “need” shyt. They just wanted to blow that bread on some BS. That’s a way I learn to see who on bullshyt.

Those folks really aren't friends. The ones that really get me are the ones that will ask someone that has kids if they can borrow money. What exactly do you need money from someone so bad that's more important than their kids?

It has more to do with their character. They clearly lack respect for you. I barely borrow money from people since I have a big pride ego but the few times that I’ve had the person doesn’t even need to ask me for it. I Give it back on the day of that I promised or before.

People who borrow a lot are broke so giving back money is a struggle for them.

Nowadays if a friend ask me for $25 dollars or less I just simply give it to them. No way I’m fighting or getting stressed over $25 or less.
