Theres a handful of media members that show Kobe love but a lot of them seem bitter at the guy for some reason. ESPN always has these lists than has Kobe criminally low. He gets more love from players than media for sure.

Its funny Kobe has so many players in the league that are his sons, Kyrie shouted out Kobe after Game 7 shot, and then that college basketball chick was balling out about a month ago in the Final 4 and was shouting out Kobe, yet ESPN said Kobe wasnt even top 10 most influential. This entire generation of basketball players literally view clutch play through the lens of "Mamba Mentality", yet he's not influential

Yup. Media shytted on Kobe hard for not having any rings without Shaq. He goes to 3 straight Finals wins back to back rings the moment he gets help and they shift it to we’ll he only wins because Gasol/Bynum and his supporting cast. If LeBron had those guys blah blah blah. Every talking point against Kobe from 08-10 was because their guy wasn’t getting to the Finals and winning rings while Kobe was. They always wanted Kobe up outta there so Bron could get all the shine
