Why do people act like Terminator Salvation was a bad movie?

No wonder TS rated the OG Terminator 3rd out of 4 movies.:sas2:

When you say to a younger person to watch the OG of a now shytty franchise that they know now sucks they are reluctant to watch and if they do they are more critical because the reputation already stuck in their mind.
Not necessarily,Just don't hype it up as the second coming and they'll probably enjoy it if they like movies period
I was kind like that as a kid as far as thinking "new"="better" or updated visuals makes a superior product, but that was really simple thinking on my part as I simply hadn't been exposed to very much. Just get them to give it a chance they'll probably change their mind:ehh:
My younger cousins and brothers were:scust: after crystal skull but after I put them on to the original trilogy that's all we watched on vacation that year:popcorn:

i thought it was entertaining especially the chase scene, that ended with that crazy stunt off the bridge, oh yeah and moon bloodgod's tatas on the blu ray

Anton Yelchin would have made a better kyle reese i think

I'm not talking about your individual experience. Generally speaking, if you tell them to check it out without 'hyping it up' they just won't check it out. And if you hype it up the scrutiny level is higher and they are all super critical about it when watching. It's a no win situation.

Think if there was just Terminator 1 and 2. There would be no confusion whatsoever and they can check out this awesome movie and it's sequel because the word of mouth is nothing but positive.

Individual experience is all I have to go by breh:yeshrug: Not sure what you're goin by but
With all the watered down"reboots" coming out I've had a great excuse to run through the originals again, poltergeist, jurassic park, terminator, ninja turtles etc. I wasn't tryna watch em alone either so I gather up whoever's in the mood and it ends up bein a good time:leon:

Call me crazy but i like 1 better than 2 but not by much

OG for me too, gotta love that rawness and grit.. If T2 had a deep flaw it was Edward Furlong.

Felt this way for years the original just gives me a better more enjoyable watch. Can't deny that T2 is the better overall film, but Terminator is just a classic and has actually aged well over time regardless of the dated 80s-ness of it.

Salvation over this is def :troll: x1000, if serious breh in OP gotta set aside 1:45 mins of his day today to get his life together

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Just finished watching this again... Still have ZERO fukking clue what people's problem is. This is definitely the third best movie in the franchise

After that dumpster trash of part 3... what did people want? ANOTHER fukking "hey we sent just oooooooooone more terminator and savior back, even tho we said we sent the last and destroyed the machine, 30 mins into the first movie"

then after seeing the worst movie of the current century, in part 5 or genisys or whatever the fukk........ people still shyt on Salvation

This had some good acting, good story, kept a lot of things canon to match up with the first movie, and left the door open for more future robot war movies.. but nope.. fans fukked that up and let them keep fukking up the franchise, trying to do the same ass story 5 damn times in a row
