because we still get paid to chill and watch Netflixunless it's excruciating pain why call off for being sick? I rather still get payed and work slow then not get payed at all. Just seems dumb.

I'm salaried so it doesn't matter much, but sometimes I just don't feel like going to work. The mental relief of not having to work is calming and overall is great for you. We as a dam country work to much as it is just make ends meet. Sometimes you need those unplanned "me" days. Just sitting there watching espn all day, posting on the coli and not giving a fukk about anything else.

On a more general principle workers should get over this hero complex......negro if you died tomorrow couple people might say something at your funeral and they gonna put a job ad in the paper the next day or cram your duties onto one of your former coworkers to pick up the slack

Every time i text a job that i'm unwell these people always call as if to check you really sick and empathise i should of called before 9 am man i'm in bed at that time because im sick
