I'm on advanced GVT now and I did weighted pull-ups (added 50lbs for a total of 280lbs) this morning. Only got thru 9 of the 10 sets. Strict reps thoughthis was more brutal than the deadlifts on this program

Damn how many reps/set?
At my old gym in BK there was a dude who looked like Sauce Money's brother... had to be a cool 350 easy. But he would bang out chinups for sets of 10. Had the whole pulley rack rockin and rollin... sounding like the beginning of Trillville 'Some Cut'![]()
5 reps per set. I'm not used to workin out in the morning tho
I'm gonna be focusing on dips and pull ups when I switch to my fullbody routine. I can do 15 dips pretty easily now. However my pull ups have fell off in terms of being strict. I wanted to save time and use it as something I would superset of with but it looks like I've been doing it too fast. Def gonna do them much slower.
Man i can get like 3 pull ups and feel likeon the inside then I look around and realized I only did 3 and people are looking at me like

I cannot do them anymore. I used to do them a lot. I have osteoarthritis in my right shoulder now.i work out at a commercial gym and there are a couple people who look good ect but i hardly ever see anyone doing dips or pullups. both underrated exercises
Pausei like to do pullups as a warm-up on back days and get my muscles primed, but i can't fukk with dips anymore.
a few years ago, I went a little too deep trying to really tear the muscle fibers and snapped my shyt all the way up. had a fukking debilitating case of costochondritis that took damn near 2 years to recover from fully with rest, then physical therapy. so fukk dips, never again that shyt is holocaust status to me...![]()

Two completely different motions/muscle groups famI can do like 5 sets of 20 pullups but am still weak when it comes to bench![]()
I try to hit 8-10 each set....
I can do 11 straight muscle ups nowDoing them as a workout finisher helps.
