Why do people hate getting paid biweekly so much?

Some of y’all confusing bi weekly with bi monthly

Bi weekly = 26 pay checks per year (every other week)

Bi monthly = 24 per year

I don't think anyone is confusing it. I don't think anyone brought it up. :patrice:

I've worked in a grocery store for 8 years and the pay was every week. Going from that to bi weekly pay at my new job makes me feel broke as hell.

And plus, dont less taxes get taken out if its weekly pay? Never cared to look this up lol but it feels like common sense

you literally make the same amount of money. What difference does it make

Some folks feel like they making more money when they wake up and see a larger amount at one time. I rather get paid weekly; that way im not forced to wait so long for my next check when im broke

I had a job where you could pretty much choose whether your payday was Wednesday/Thursday/Friday. A lot of people would choose Wednesday to get paid "faster", even though you still have to wait two weeks for the check no matter what day it comes.

Thats when I realized people aren't thinking rationally at all, just want that check ASAP so they can spend it.

I mean Wednesday is sooner than friday

Lifestyle creep breh

People spend more when they make more, if you don't have budgeting skills you're fukked no matter what

I was being facetious when I posted what I did, but you do have a point. I definitely spend more now than I did 5 years ago.

When I worked in banking, it was alarming how many people did not know how to budget (or did not care to). Even in this thread the feeling I’m getting is that people can’t afford to live on what they make.

Hell, I remember my last roommate telling me it was going to be hard for him to pay his half of rent if we were to renew our lease (2bd 1 bath apartment going from $830 to $900), but during our lease this dude wanted expensive ass Comcast, bought a new TV for his room (55 inch flat screen) and a PS4 :rudy:. People need to make better choices.

Country needs minimum wage increases and rent caps. People in this thread act like emergencies don't arise.

Wait...who started this thread?:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: that damn Brothazay:mjlol:
San Francisco/ California did this proposed min wage gap the rest of the country is wanting so bad

all it did was raise everything $1-5 extra and still priced out min wage workers and now putting middle class in more financial crisis because they were already barely getting by on the old prices.

lower cost of living is the answer, not just raising people wages.. that solves nothing.. (and did solve nothing, actually worked against general public)

They are talking about permanently changing your due date / billing cycle:
Don't like that your cable bill is due every month on the 3rd around rent time? They will change it for you, call them.
Don't like having your cell bill due every month on the 17th? Call them.

Can probably do it online in most cases.

Exactly

Change it once to make it convenient with your paycheck schedule.

These nikkaz talking about changing it each month and shyt :laff:

I pay rent with one check
And all other Bill's with my 2nd check

When I was younger...I had no structure and always was broke. I'd pay whatever bill was due with the closest check.

Recipe for disaster lol
