because every Haitian i've ever met has been a.....

:pachaha:

:ohhh: Lateregistrationdotcomforwardslashwtf

I had no idea Corey was part of GS9 musically, and I have all their mixtapes. Then again, I never knew his name. Used to see him with the other GSC in the 90s, but I thought he just another scammin dancing nikka. This vagabond track not bad:ehh:

Back in the day, Haitians were view upon as the lowest of lows. I was fukking ignorant too, as a youth. You called a kid a Haitian booty scratcher, that equal to be called the n word. Till this day, if your fashion not on point, you're being called a Haitian. Funny thing is the Haitians I knew in NYC were some of the flyest, realist most beautiful people I know. Most are caking with money too.

It's way better now though. Like someone said in here before, rappers stay spitting about that Zoe life, and the community been embraced them. Fetty Wap rep them heavy, and he's not Haitian at all. It's not a sign of embarrassment in people's eyes, but a symbol of pride and hope.

Having a Jamaican family you see this shyt right up hand and its just cringeworthy. first of all i can be negged or called out or whatever but jamaican men are especially hilarious because they cant even keep their own woman from getting out of pocket but they are gonna talk down on Haitians. like sort out your home first.

And jamaicans also gotta chill with the morality shyt about "God punishing Haiti for voodoo" while out here DAGGERING married women, skin bleaching and killing gay men because they dont like what you like :cmeon:

Because somehow Haitians and Africans are somewhat synonymous with Voodoo/Obeah, which is bullshyt because all the Caribbean islands do it. I was shocked when I found out that it's crazy heavy out there in Trinidad & Tobago (family is TNT). My sis went out to there to minister with her church, and some folks in the area wasn't feeling it at all. Let's leave it at that.

Jamaicans and Trini's are two of the most proudest people in the world, so looking down on Haitians isn't breaking news. shyt they look down on each other.

In the 90's I use to see that alot of people (Particular young people at the time) made fun of our Haitian peers in school. It was like an insult to be African American and called Haitian by another African American and the whole HBO (Haitian Body Oder Joke) was going around . I think at the time it had alot to do with them being "Refugees" and the news clip images of there struggle. I went on to date a Haitian girl in the late 90's early 2000's her and her family were actually very light skinned.

Aint read this thread so dont know what's been said

But when you cant do much for others people aint gon fukk with you

Apply the same to black americans too...if we had worthwhile mediums OUR disposal to exchange wed get a lot of "love"....people look at shyt from the wrong perspective...whats in it for people to love you? If nothing then there ya go
You hit it on the head!

Most People are selfish, its just how life is. I had to learn the hard way. When you find someone who really does something from the heart, keep them people guarded, because they are rare:krs:

But, its sad that as black people, we are lost all over the world. It's 2017 , and this shyt is still being talked about, and without any truth a lot of times. You would think we would try to find solutions to unify by now:ohlawd:
