And at what economic level is it “OK” to have kids? Only once you’re a millionaire? Once you own a home in a tree lined subdivision? Once you’re off section 8? When?

- You're not stressed about providing for yourself
- You can afford to live in a reasonably safe neighborhood with decent schools
- Your finances are such that you aren't worried how you'll feed your kids and pay the bills every single month

Honestly not that complicated, arbitrary, or controversial.

If you can barely take care of yourself, you should not have kids until you can do that. If people followed that rule alone there wouldn't be so many children suffering through poverty.

Was watching documentaries and i'll never understand when i see these mother or single mothers with 3/4/5 kids saying they can't get by.

I'm not saying poor people can't have kids but it's not fair to those children getting born into poverty

in the united states a poor person can win the lotto, rob a bank, be a drug kingpin, sue and win a huge personal injury settlement, win american idol and even invent an app that elevates them out of poverty. So, exactly which countries should people stop having kids that they cant afford?
