You sound like a quiet person hurt your ego.
As a quiet person, I have found that it's mostly because people think something is wrong with you if you don't speak to any and everybody.
I'm not that dude who has to say something to everybody. If you speak to me, I'll be cordial. I can do small talk just fine, whether initiating or not. However, I prefer to observe and assess because I'm trying to get better about reading people. In all honesty, I don't care to say much of anything to anybody unless I have to say it to get something done or get an answer to a question.

I get the opposite I'm quiet but seem very serious. I have been told most of my life than when I'm angry I give a look of death. A co-worker once put it as "you got a face that says don't fukk with you" 
I once walke in to a restaurant when they were closing and they tried to send me off with no food... I was on the way to a new year party and needed to eat before boozing. I gave the cashier dude one stern look and he came up off all the left over food for a discount

Quiet people are peaceful, but get on their wrong side, its on. I mean, on some public execution type shyt where someone gets permanently crippled or a limb gets lost.

He is right. Quiet people aren't upfront with their intentions and keep shyt bottled up. You can't read them and so when you are surprised at how they really act when something happens. Ever notice how the school killings were all quiet guys who didn't say much in class?

I'm 20....turn 21 next week. I have no problem socializing when I want, with my bros, and etc but if i don't know you I don't care to talk. At places like my job unless you talk to me I'm not gonna say anything
