I'm well aware of things like Comcast's "six strikes" measure and how they count for nothing. However, the main implication was that if more people were to start pirating, actual measures would be put into place. I hope you don't seriously believe that the distributors/copyright owners would see a large spike in piracy, to the point where virtually no one bothered to purchase legally, and just sit around and do nothing. This is coming from someone who routinely uses more than 2TB in bandwidth each month, purely for uploads. I'd like to keep it that way. :francis:I for one salute all those who continue to pursue the legal means.
Of course they would do something, but so would the other side. With VPNs etc... there would be even more sophisticated ways of going about it

Many VPNs, mine included, significantly reduce bandwidth speeds and VPNs don't mean squat when bandwidth caps are imposed. I'd rather not have additional hurdles, as you should.:francis:If folks want to spend their money, it works for me. :manny:

i support artists that make music i connect to on an emotional level. Alot of people are like this. Thats why artists like Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole are the ones REALLY selling while these generic, microwaveable "trap/drill" rappers barely sell shyt

Not really. If you want to support go see them in concert. They are getting pennies from cd sells and streams

My ex gf used to use this argument. Yes by going to concerts you are supporting the artist. But don't complain when the quality of albums drop tremendously. Nobody's dropping classic albums anymore because there's no financial incentive. The only cats selling records are pop artists or some random flavor of the month.

i support a few hip hop artists because I like to see them work with top shelf producers and put out quality albums. If not we are just going to have mixtape legends who's only revenue source is touring, and the Drake's of the world.

That is very true. I give you that. You would see ISPs have an increase in sales with people looking for higher speed packages though. Maybe an AT&T or Comcast should support piracy :sas1:

I understand it's free and I download shyt for free myself but I make it a point to buy it if I like it

Why the fukk nikkas act like it's the end of the world to drop 10-15 on music they like but will spend that on 2 overpriced Coronas in the club?
