It's convenient. There's nothing they have that's great. All of it turns to shyt within 5 minutes of leaving the kitchen. The window in which the food is edible says everything.

I'm not one to turn my nose up at it. The food is obviously edible. Their fried are on point when done right.
If you get a burger from a proper joint, you can tell the difference. Their patties just aren't succulent and have zero flavour on their own.

What? Micky Ds is pure trash by the standards of damn fast food let alone a slow cooked meal. I dont know how you can look at a nasty ass quarter pounder with cheese and compare to even a Wendys Daves Classic.
It might taste "good" but it aint satisfying.
Only thing that holds up at Micky Ds is their fries and that filet o fish sandwich.
When its FRESH tho. Here in the Bronx we got plenty of triflin ass McDonalds restaurants that will hand you a box of day old fries and a stale dry ass fish sandwich with only a pinch of the tartar sauce, any time of the day.
Truthfully when Im fixin for some straight.cheap fast food I go for White Castle. Judge me.

It might be some old mom myths but growing up I heard 1) mcdonalds food never spoils or builds mold and 2) Flies, rats and other common pests do not eat it.
And if its true, any food that is rejected by both bacteria and animals should probably be rejected by human beings too

Don’t know if it’s just in DC, but do any of the McDonalds in y’all cities give you the sensation of the place feeling (and smelling) dirty and cruddy? It’s why I prefer getting it here in the suburbs, plus a lotta Mickey D’s in DC are no strangers to random fukkery either (looking at you McDonalds in Gallery Place as well as the one on 14th & U and the one by Howard).
