Maybe because to them, it doesn't. How y'all expect everyone to like/feel the same way about what you like is weird. Even amongst the people who eat it, there's discrepancies. Some won't eat the breakfast, some won't eat anything but the breakfast, some only eat the chicken options

I use to kill 4 double cheeseburgers back in high school after foot ball practice.

I don’t eat red meat as much now but if I want a burger there are better alternatives around that have more selections.

i have local selections with healthier alternatives and other chains I prefer if I just really want a burger.

I haven't had McDonald's in a good grip but their food as of late in certain locations is hit or miss :yeshrug: and it comes down to the workers and their effort when cooking the food.

For example, I've gone to McDonald's on 160 Broadway and 6th Ave so from what I remember the food at those locations was pretty good hot and fresh (scale of 4/5 for both of them) but when I ate at the Park Ave spot it was mediocre (cold, slightly burnt, etc) along with the customer service.

It’s only good when you’re used to eating it. Go without it for a few months and then have it, and it’s disgusting.

And yeah, it has to be fresh. And it’s a gamble every time you go, whether it’s gonna hot and juicy or warm and dry.

Don’t know if it’s just in DC, but do any of the McDonalds in y’all cities give you the sensation of the place feeling (and smelling) dirty and cruddy? It’s why I prefer getting it here in the suburbs, plus a lotta Mickey D’s in DC are no strangers to random fukkery either (looking at you McDonalds in Gallery Place as well as the one on 14th & U and the one by Howard).

Chinatown in general though

When you know how to cook, or have had better quality food, fast food loses its appeal. Now if you’re on the run and need something quick, hence “fast” food, ok. But if you’re seriously contemplating a meal without being in a rush, it’s not always going to be fast food.

Plus, some of us who are more health conscious do genuinely think it doesn’t taste good, because your thoughts on something can affect its personal value and quality.

And even in a rush, I'd rather just get something from the supermarket deli section :manny:
