Why do people thank God for everything ?

Those people are being wronged by the leaders of their country. They're unfortunately suffering because of the evilness of people who are supposed to have their best interest at hand. Free will gives you the option to commit evil. Free will is why there's people who profit off the suffering of others. People who cause the suffering of others will face God's judgment when they die, and will most likely be damned to hell

so why can't these people just pray themselves out of their situation??? why isn't good blessing them???

What do you mean? He is omnipotent right? He allegedly works miracles on other terminal illnesses, cures cancer, leprosy etc. It's either he's not omnipotent OR he is but doesn't care to help amputees. Which is it?

He's omnipotent, so he gives us the intelligence to create technology that surpasses our human capabilities. You're basically asking me, why can't humans regenerate on some Spongebob type shyt? That's equivalent to asking "why can't dogs talk to humans?" Or, "why can't humans have super powers?" The shyt just isn't physically possible with our genetic make up

Because all that is good comes from God and he breathed life into you for no reason what so ever other then just out of pure love. He loves you more then your parent's, kids, family. And I'm sure you love these folks the most too, but he still loves them more then you do

Their situation exist because of the wrongdoing and evilness of others. Wrongdoing and evilness exists because of free will. Let me put it like this, if you got robbed, your suffering was caused by the evilness of the person who robbed you. The person who robbed you will have to answer to God for his wrongdoing

That's a very interesting point. Indeed the whole point of religion, especially the monotheist ones, is considering oneself special enough to have recieved the message of the "true God" (because of course my god is better than yours), and being "on the good side" of God. And giving thanks or referencing God for everything is a way of making you own life more important than it is, and connecting it to some "grand scheme".

This is an interesting point and I never thought about it in that sense. What makes those people any less arrogant than the atheists they say the same about?

Let me ask you this. If you have no moral objection with sin, what's stopping you from causing harm to anybody you come in contact with? What's stops you from stealing from people, or raping a bytch, or hurting somebody for no reason?

He doesn't grow back their limbs because he doesn't answer ANY PRAYERS at all. Nobody's prayers. Either he can't or doesn't exist.

Few things here. Who said I don't have moral objections?
Sin is a purely religious concept that I don't subscribe to.
I adhere to a form of utilitarianism, greater good for the greatest amount of people (simplified). So killing/stealing/raping isn't greater good.
Lastly, are you suggesting you would be killing and raping if it wasn't for your religion?
You do know there are tribes that have never had a concept of God or religion and they don't do these things. Someghing called empathy, which even some animals have.

You're willfully ignoring what I'm saying. Growing a whole body part back isn't capable by humans. Creating fake, replacement body parts is. You aren't discrediting God's omnipotence at all

As far as that study, what happened to them was destined to happen. If they died of their illnesses, that was how they were intended to be taken out of the world
