Because we're granted free will. Acting on free will can make you susceptible to the devil/evil. Evil people pay for their evilness eternally in Hellhow come God's blessings can't override the evil men do???

I'm not ignoring anything, your words:You're willfully ignoring what I'm saying. Growing a whole body part back isn't capable by humans. Creating fake, replacement body parts is. You aren't discrediting God's omnipotence at all
As far as that study, what happened to them was destined to happen. If they died of their illnesses, that was how they were intended to be taken out of the world
He responded to their prayers by giving them technology that gives them the next best thing to a regerated limb, which is a prostectic. So, technically, he's INCAPABLE of answering that prayer because its outside the realm of human capabilities. Creating technology, however, isn't

Medical technology is very impressive, it's one of the most impressive feats of humankind. You're asking me why can't God allow someone to do something that God made impossible to do, due to the limitations of the human body. God didn't mean for our bodies to regenerate whole limbs, if he did, we'd be able to. That all goes back to the theory of intelligent design, humans have limitations for a reasonI'm not ignoring anything, your words:
The word "incapable" is the opposite of omnipotent. Sure, humans are incapable of growing back a limb, but god should be capable IF HES OMNIPOTENT.
Your argument is "he can only heal you in a way that humans and technology can heal you". Not that impressive huh
No that's not what I'm saying. It's not about humans doing anything it's about god doing it, but you already answered "he's incapable" of that. God didn't design us to cure ourselves from cancer or blindness, yet he intervenes there right?Medical technology is very impressive, it's one of the most impressive feats of humankind. If God intended for us to grow back our own limbs, he would've given us the power to do it. He chooses not to grow someone's limb back because humans aren't made to work like that. Technology intervenes our physical limitations, that exist because of intelligent design. Technology is a product of God making us intelligentNo that's not what I'm saying. Since he can't grow a limb back "himself" on his own, he is not omnipotent.
Just answer the simple question please. If God intended for us to grow back our own limbs, he would've given us the power to do it. He chooses not to grow someone's limb back because humans aren't made to work like that. Technology intervenes our physical limitations, that exist because of intelligent design. Why would the greater good of society matter if there's no God? Why does society need to be productive if there's no reward for productivity?Few things here. Who said I don't have moral objections?
Sin is a purely religious concept that I don't subscribe to.
I adhere to a form of utilitarianism, greater good for the greatest amount of people (simplified). So killing/stealing/raping isn't greater good.
Lastly, are you suggesting you would be killing and raping if it wasn't for your religion?
You do know there are tribes that have never had a concept of God or religion and they don't do these things. Someghing called empathy, which even some animals have.

Why would the greater good of society matter if there's no God? Why does society need to be productive if there's no reward for productivity?
I'm not "religious." I'd consider myself just a theist if I need to abide by a label. If I didn't believe in a God, I'd consider my life meaningless. I'd just kill myself because there'd be no incentive or reward for staying alive, and no punishment for causing my own death
Yes. If God did that, it would be called miraculous, because it's not meant to be possible by man. That could only happen if God intervened in his own intelligent designJust answer the simple question please.
In isolation, no technology, no "humans aren't made like that", no fluff.
Can your god grow back an amputated limb? Yes or no
as I said , empathy. Why would the greater good of society matter if there's no God? Why does society need to be productive if there's no reward for productivity?
Every being has the instinct to survive, so people wouldn't be killing themselves. If I didn't believe in a God, I'd consider my life meaningless. I'd just kill myself because there'd be no incentive or reward for staying alive, and no punishment for causing my own death
