I understand the racial history (particularly from the 50s, 60s, 70s,) but Boston proper is also half non-white and has a very racially/ethnically/culturally diverse city. Moreover, we do have a black governor.

Boston also had the first racially integrated professional sports team.

Personally, I think the city gets a bad rap based on the whole bussing situation but the city has DEFINITELY changed since then.

What do you think?
Boston too patriotic for me.. Celebrating all that Plymouth rock shyt :camby:and what not. the "history" Y'all cherish so much Is just a reminder for me about the role that area played in the destruction of my people.

Everybody so proud of the history there YALL should be ashamed. That's why I be like fukk Boston.

Lived on beacon hill and on the gardens for five years. Boston isn't that racist. Only time you might see racism is when people are talking anout downtown crossing (bostonians you know what im talking about) cuz sometimes you have groups of teens there acting like fukkin dumbasses. Downtown boston is white as. Dress respectably and i really don't foresee any issues. Bostonians can be really cool or fukkin dikks regardless of your color. Its more of a classist city. Pretty progressive

We let a convicted felon be the face of our franchise

The most beloved athletes here are Allen Iverson, Charles Barkley and Brian Dawkins

DJax was throwing up gang signs on National TV a few years back. "Thug" wouldnt be a reach when describing him. He wasnt meshing well with the rest of the team and plus they wanted to avoid a potential Aaron Hernandez situation, nothing wrong with that. He also slandered the fans/city on more than one occasion.

Riley Cooper, by all accounts, doesnt make waves behind the scenes and has a body type better fit for longevity in the NFL.

I see you're reppin Atlanta, havent several Hawks FO members made racist comments in the offseason? :mjlol:

Irish people (I hate generalizing), at least in America, really really hate blacks. At one point, the Irish were considered the nikkas of the white race. Weren't really considered white to be honest. They were called dumb, lazy, irresponsible. WASPs really used to shyt on them during the turn of the century. Little known fact, the Irish were slaves along with Blacks in South America and the Caribbean. Kinda like a Clayton Bigsby skit, the Irish went hard as they could against blacks in hopes that WASPs would accept into white supremacy and stop picking on them. And it worked :mjpls: Italians did the same thing. It's funny the two groups that were bullied by whites (Italians, Irish) 50-70 years ago are the most racist groups today :mjpls: Boston is almost entirely Irish (in terms of whites) and blue collar (poor uneducated white trash). All the makings of a racist cocktail.
