it's the irish.. i've been to ireland twice... they are just racist as fukk over there.. and it's not even blacks.. they hate everybody.. even if you just from a different part of ireland or a different religion
:what: I went there twice as well, and I'm not sticking up for white folks but I didn't see none of that. They were NOTHING like Irish Americans from what I saw. Everyone was very nice, courteous etc. the only similarities culturally that I saw with them and Irish Americans is that they both Love to drink beer.

ask an irish person how they feel about africans in their country

google irish racist and look for news articles that pop up

i didn't just say blacks... i mean EVERYBODY... "oh those c*nt fukks from england are all fukking shyt.. i wish these africans would get out of our country"

i went there and people would look funny until i started talking... i don't know how many times i heard "ohhhhh you're from america.. i thought you were an african and trying to talk to me.. how are you today"

i don't go there to visit.. i go stay with friends who i consider like family... they don't put the tourist front up for me and if you around the town, dip into one of those old irish pubs and listen to them talk shyt

boston really ain't that bad from what I've experienced. I've never seen any sort of this this issue as far as I can tell...but that depends on your social circle.

Comments from 2 HOF Celtics players about their experiences in Boston as blacks.

Cedric Maxwell: “I don’t think Boston has a monopoly on racism in the United States, but the perception is that Boston is the most racist around and that’s not the case."

Tom "Satch" Sanders: “There isn’t a city is in America that during those times, and even now, that you can’t find racial situations currently. Los Angeles was my worst experience. Cops pulling guns on us [as we were] walking on the street [or] driving the car. People talk about Boston, [but] you’ve got to be kidding me. LA was the worst place I’ve ever been in during those particular times.”

I think both of these men are in a better position to talk about racism in Boston than most posters in this thread.

On the other hand Bill Russell famously said something to the effect of playing for the Celtics and not the city of Boston.

Chicago also strongly on that :mjpls: too

Bill Russell just had a statue made in his honor. And he still lives in Boston.
