What's sad about it? They have made it. Most of them are making millions to play a kids game or tour the world doing something they love.

Like other people said celebrity worship is rampant in every culture and race today and that's a problem, there definitely needs to be more emphasis on becoming doctors and just giving back to our communities in general, but there's nothing wrong with celebrating someone who made it to the pinnacle of their craft, and young kids aspiring to do the same, they just need to be taught that not everyone is gona make it and they need to have something to fall back on.

Nothing wrong with wanting to play a sport or have a musical talent and get paid well to do so. As someone who teaches ages 8 (kids) to 22 (grown adults), unfortunately, the bolded (and positions/ jobs alike) is rarely looked at as option among all the ages. Not to generalize but speaking from my own experience, I've witnessed and asked questions of my students pertaining to their career aspirations and, typically, their responses always tend to skew towards either an athlete or superstar. Anything outside of this parameter is considered "square" bc its less recognized. The media is a powerful tool.:wow: That is the sad part for me. This is my opinion. We don't have to agree.

Because the white man said they could.

If they rapped about Killing white people they wouldn't.
