you hit plateaus in lifting, whether it be size, strength, lowering your BF, etc. if lifting is something you're serious about, one might dabble in roids to push them to the next level. lifting can easily get boring once you get to a place where you're no longer making gains. some people are fine with this and focus on maintaining, others seek that thrill that usually happens year ~1-2, those gains and changes are much further apart and harder to achieve the longer you've been active, roids can provide that boost :yeshrug:

Yes, I do know there is a lot of science in bodybuilding. I use it. Go look at my physique photos in the "what physique would you like to achieve" thread, I know what I'm doing.

Yes, the average juicer doesn't know shyt about their own body. Neither does the average gym goer or person. So why are you encouraging everyone jump on the juice before figuring out their bodies and what they need to do outside of steroids to see results?

Its like racing. You put an F1 driver in any car, they are going to be faster than everyone else in the same car. But if you put the average person in a F1 car, they are either gonna be very slow or crash. If you want to go fast you have to learn how to drive. If you want to make gains you have to learn how to eat and lift. Most people would achieve more learning the "science" than just jumping on the juice.

What "bodybuilding science" books have you read?

First of all don't ever put words in my mouth, Quote me in any thread where I encourage anybody to use Anabolics.

Red and processed meat increases your chance of cancer but millions of people eat it anyway. If you have certain goals and a certain look that you want to achieve then why not use something to help you achieve those goals? I don't take steroids but I 100% understand those that do. If I could take a drug that could make me 2 - 5 times better at programming or playing the piano then I would be extremely tempted to take it. Steroids aren't particularly dangerous if administered properly, millions of people take painkillers and other hormones with toxicity of the same or worse without anyone caring. In fact a study just came out showing that Ibuprofen (Advil) can make you sterile Ibuprofen linked to male infertility, study says - CNN !!!!

I don’t understand it either. Not to mention unlike athletes who get access to the high quality stuff, the average joe is more likely to get some weird Chinese shyt that’ll give you titties :mjlol:

Exactly, years ago a few brehs in my gym were showing a few of us vials they got off the net, I was listening like :uneasy:

Anyone who tells you they don’t get in shape to impress others is lying to you, whether people want to admit it or not vanity will always be a factor

I do it for myself and to blow off steam, I don't care about people's opinions at all

Most men weightlifting are not trying to look like the dudes on the cover of IronMan weightlifting magazines, bro. They just wanna look good in a wife beater. Nice chest, arms, back, traps...etc. And you don't have to delve into steroids to obtain that look. Unless you're really up there in age or have some type of injury/disease that may stunt your muscular growth steroids are not necessary. Training hard and correctly, eating right and resting well can get most cats where they want to be.

This is true to a degree, however outside of Africans/African Americans, most races in general don't have the genetics to build a quality physique no matter how much proper eating/dieting, resting & training they do.

I don't really care who takes steroids. My only problem is when dudes lie on social media that they're natural and try to shyt on people for calling them out.

Those people are usually doing a disservice to the younger kids who don't know any better, usually to sell some bullshyt supplements and cookie cutter meal plans.

One of the reasons I hate fitness mags, as a kid I used to purchase that shyt like crazy until I smartened up, columnists talking about 'Hey all I do is 50 push-ups and eat steak and broccoli'

Most fitness models on social media are on something.

Those guys you see and can tell at first glance that they workout.. they aren't natural.

The body most people can achieve through being natural looks like shyt compared to people on steroids, HGH, testosterone etc.

This guy is natural and look how unimpressive his physique looks compared to guys that are on stuff. And he's been lifting consistently for many years too.

Huh? That guy is in great shape
