Why do Republicans feel so strongly about abortion?

I'm not a conservative(or a liberal) so it's easy for me to sit back and see the hypocrisy on both sides and watching the blind idiots below them bicker back and forth with each other.

I'm all for free health care and shyt, but I can see why some don't feel it's fair to want to pay for it(even though they are wrong)


But anyone thinking the conservatives make ppl pay more than Liberals are fukking blind as fukk...

The point is, as a society.. we are all going to pay for things we don't morally and ideologically support. Not every person is on the same page about everything.

I don't support the wall, but my taxes will be contributing to it. I don't support what Israel does and how big our military is, but I financially help support it etc etc

republicans who are typically anti abortion, pro war and pro capitalists just want women to have more babies to haul off to war and to become workers to continue helping make the rich more rich, that's exactly what this shyt is about.

Exactly, which is why we get this ping pong bullshyt whenever a new party gets in the White House.

One supports one thing the other doesn't and it just keeps going back and forth. But to say one POV is better than the other is pointless. As we know with Religion its hard to fight someone's beliefs and ideologies.

that's why this battle between pro-choice and pro-life will never really be won. It's not a battle of science or logic, its a battle of personal morals and values.

so instead of attacking someone's personal values the argument needs to be adjusted. This back and forth attacks on either side isn't going to solve anything except keeping everyone from hating each ther.

Because most American Christians are anti abortion and they want the votes.

Always found it weird that republicans are "pro life" but don't want to do fukk all to help these kids when they're born and believe in starting wars and executing people.

It isn't just restricted to right wingers though, most of my family is anti abortion but most vote for the Scottish socialist party and the SNP and honestly I'm not comfortable with it at all in most cases either.

Ppl really need to stop thinking these politicians on either side really care about them...

I don't accept being "inconvenienced" as an excuse to get rid of a child. Especially if the child was conceived via consensual relations. People sleeping around like they don't know that sex makes babies. :denzelcmonson:

*HOWEVER*, many "pro-lifers" aren't really "pro-life" for a person's entire life...you can't fight so passionately for the unborn and then say "screw 'em" once they're born.

Many conservatives do use this position to have moral high ground over women who have made mistakes and have to make tough choices for their individual situations.

I don't agree with it, and if a woman asked me about it at any stage of her pregnancy I would try to talk her out of it, but the law allows it so you do what you want.
